Some food and drinks that we had yesterday with some of SLap! and Dream Machine members. I have no idea how much were all these and I’m not sure what are all the food called. 😛

Left: Ice lemon tea, teh tarik and Milo Dinasour hehehe… We paid for these ourselves as we reached there early. Supposed to go to PC fair but too many people and if we went, we won’t be in time join this meet.
Right: Peanut butter toast.

No idea what were all these! 😛 They are breads with kaya, butter(left and right) and condensed milk(middle).

Since we arrived quite early for the Kuching Entertainers’ Gathering 2007 last Saturday, we went over to Crown Square for a drink.

Here’s our drinks:
Left: Iced Chocolate Drink(RM3.40) ARG! Are you giving me Milo?!?!? I know it’s not Milo but it tasted like Milo’s competitor. It’s not chocolate =.= At least to me, I didn’t taste any chocolate… Taste more ice. I’m pretty picky in chocolate based drink. For this price and I’m getting this quality and quantity, I felt cheated! 🙁 Don’t ever order this type, other type I’m not sure.

Middle: Almond Tea(RM2.80)

Right: Tea In Hong Kong Style(RM2.60)

That’s all hehehe…

On other note, where is NTV7!!! I missed my shows! *CRY*

You want to get the best Hainan chicken rice or char siew(red BBQ pork meat) in Kuching? Fang Yuen is the place you should go. Well… That’s what many people said. For me… Nothing special… Just normal chicken rice and normal char siew. *SHRUG* I guess I’m not really a fan of chicken rice *LOL*

It’s always packed with people! If you are wondering where it’s situated, it’s just behind Hock Lee. Very easy to locate. Ample parking space too.

The basic thing you have when you are eating chicken rice, the chili is important, some people will mix the soy sauce with the chili to give extra flavour but not me. The belacan is a must too. As for the bowl of curry with no meat, just the curry, it’s only applicable to places that serve curry chicken rice and usually you can get it at places that serve Hainan chicken rice.

Of course, the rice and the soup. The soup not nice, so peppery and very salty -.-‘ The rice so-so only and that time they ran out of chicken rice and the plate of rice that my dad got was plain rice mixed with the chicken rice which they did inform us earlier because the chicken rice was out of stock, so it’s not that bad. Oh well… Their business is always very good, it’s was Sunday too. In fact, had this 2 weeks ago! *LOL* I forget to update about it! 😛

TADA! The char siew and the steamed chicken. Portion very little for 4 persons don’t you think? Good thing, my bro and I wasn’t in the mood to eat a lot, it was so hot and humid that day and we were sitting outside of the shop. It’s only RM15 for 4 of us! Cheap! Haven’t count the drinks yet hehehe…

Yesterday before going to Holiday Inn to collect my prize, went to lunch at Hainan Street Cafe. No idea where to go and saw this new place so decided to try it out.

Hainan Chicken Rice(RM3.80 per set), ordered two sets. If you order more than 2 sets, you can mix the meat(steamed and roasted). The taste… The soup has very strong pandan flavour, the meat is tender at least it didn’t stuck between my teeth. Not so bad.

They have other food too such as Penang curry noodle, Cantonese fried kueh tiaw and so on. If yesterday I have such time to eat anything fancy, I would order the Penang curry chicken noodle or Mee Mamak. Next time go there again hmm… When? Hehehe…

The place is halal. Price wise, it’s not so bad. It’s located at the same row as Madam Tang’s.

Make money with your blog? You have to think twice now. With RealRanker By Izea, I don’t think it helps much at all. Google is the KING! Sigh…

After EK Fashion Extravaganza 2007, we went to Sin Wan(not sure how’s the spelling), Jalan Song to meet up with some bloggers. Supposed to meet them up for dinner at 6pm but need to attend the fashion show, so we could only go after it, it’s around 9.30pm.

As usual, there were many people there and many illegal VCDs, DVDs vendors around. It’s always a hit among the locals. *Ahem* I was told somebody actually got them for free that night due to something unexpected. How lucky was that *LOL*

Anyway, here’s some food that we had. Just to fill our stomach because we didn’t eat much at the fashion show.

Left: Sambal Stingray, RM15. Not nice one… Eww…
Right: My favourite! Takoyaki! However, it tasted different that night, not so yummy. Hmm… One day I want to eat the real Japanese one in Japan! *BLEK*
