Always see and hear these black birds(actually is not black, it’s very dark green) eating our papayas and making loud sounds. They are known Asian Glossy Starling (Aplonis Panayensis). I decided to record them in action. It’s pretty amusing. Not everyday we have the opportunity to see these birds in action. Fell free to watch this video till the end as every minute is different. ASMR Unbox & Bake Morrisons Triple Chocolate Cookie Mix | Easy Triple Choc Cookies with Cookie Mix
This is my first time making chocolate cookies. As usual, premix saved all the troubles. Since I couldn’t gauge whether it is really properly baked because of the colour, so I over-baked it and turned out to be really tough. The taste wasn’t too bad though. I’m not into sweet food, so one is more than enough for me, it’s quite sweet.
To make this, all you need is water and butter. The rest of the work will be mixing the dough and baking it.
Anyway, if you are in the UK, you can get this from Morrisons(obviously… ;p). If you are not, I’m sure there are other brands available.
Betty Crocker Delights Tangy Lemon & Buttery Shortcrust Bar Mix (Unbox, Air Fryer Bake, No Tray)
I got a box of Betty Crocker Delights Tangy Lemon & Buttery Shortcrust Bar Mix early this year, I’ve never eaten the actual lemon bar. This is my first time making it and eating it.
Premix is always very easy. In this video, I unbox it, mix it, and bake it. I did not have oven with me and do not have the recommended tray so I just improvised with whatever I have.
The end result with the tray is how it’s supposed to look like and the texture on top is compact and soft. While the one with cupcake mould, the lemon topping texture isn’t the same as with the tray, it’s more soft and airy with more air bubbles. However, they tasted exactly the same.
How do I like it? It’s too sweet for me. I can only eat one small piece, can’t go beyond that.

Last year, Mamee Monster had black mystery packet. This year, it’s pink. Not many know about it though. Not much of a hoohaa this time around. When I got to know about it, I started to pay attention to the snack shelves when I went grocery shopping. Since it is still MCO, hence there is no such luxury of time to hang around to dig out the packet with the mystery packet. If you are looking for some Halloween food idea, you can try this out. Well… It was not supposed to turn out this way but it did! It looks like blood cubes. You know… Especially for the ladies… You know what I meant. *LOL*
If you have other dried fruit tea, use them, you don’t need to use other food colouring and flavouring. I would suggest to filter out the dried fruit by pouring it through a colander, just get the colour and flavour is good enough.
