4 Tea and Milo Easy Delicious Beverage Recipes

Posted on December 17, 2022December 17, 2022 By sweet surrender No Comments on 4 Tea and Milo Easy Delicious Beverage Recipes

Recently, I experimented with tea and Milo to make easy and delicious beverages. It all started with a free sample of Lipton Tea Potbag Extra Kaw. Since I have Milo at home too, I tried combining both. All the recipes will require evaporated milk and condensed milk for the richness of the drinks.

Teh Tarik Kaw

First, I started with teh tarik kaw. Very sweet teh tarik it is. If you add ice, you can make 2 glasses. When the ice is diluted, it will be less sweet.

Less Sweet Iced Teh Tarik

Next, here is the iced teh tarik recipe for those who want their teh tarik less sweet and not as kaw. You can omit the ice if you don’t want it cold. If you have ice, it will be even less sweet. Just adjust accordingly to your preference. No hard rules.

Iced Milo

Meanwhile, here’s a recipe with no tea involved. If you want to do something similar to the Milo van’s Milo, you can try this recipe out. It tastes similar (don’t expect it to be 100%) to the Milo from Milo van that we used to have when we were in school. It must be served cold with or without ice. The Milo will be more diluted and less sweet if ice is added.

Chocolate Tea

Lastly, I’ve always been on the lookout for chocolate tea in local cafes but I couldn’t find any. Unfortunately, I always found chai latte instead of chocolate tea. My first taste of chocolate tea was in Chocolate Bean, Adelaide (no longer in operation). I liked it and always wonder how it’s made but never get around doing it.

Since I have Lipton Tea Potbag Extra Kaw now, I can try to make one. Prior to this, I tried looking for recipes online and found out that I don’t have the spices mentioned. Then, I found one that has almost everything I have and I adjusted it slightly. Instead of cocoa powder and sugar, I used Milo, evaporated milk, and condensed milk.

By the way, the cinnamon powder is optional. Feel free to skip it if you dislike spices. If you do so, the kick won’t be there, there won’t be depth to it. However, the taste is different from the one I had in Adelaide because I didn’t add all those additional spices. Still, it is still not bad.

There you go. I hope this sharing is useful. Do try it out and let me know how you like them. Remember that you are free to adjust the ingredients here and there to suit your own tastebuds. Have fun experimenting.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
