I Miss… I Remember…

Posted on June 26, 2010June 27, 2010 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on I Miss… I Remember…

I miss you.
I miss the phone calls you made to me the first thing in the morning.
I miss the online chats that we had first thing in the morning and before going to bed.
I miss your voice.
I miss you teasing me.
I miss the special moments that we had.
I miss you giving some senses to me when I did something silly.
I miss your sense of humour.
I miss spending time with you.
I miss your call or came online when I least expected it.

I remember the time you called me from KL, how you got your staff to reload my phone for me as you ran out of credit and asked me to call you back. Then paid him more than the credit he had in his phone as you finished up his credit calling me.
I remember the time you went online in your office at LA, sharing your video with me.
I remember the time you would call me whenever you’re in Nishinomiya(a place that I always had problem remembering the name but not anymore) or Hong Kong first thing in the morning or chat with me at night before going to sleep.
I remember the time you called me from Perth and I called you back in the afternoon because I was curious with the number displayed on my phone.
I remember the time when you told me where you would be going for your fishing trip by showing me the maps making sure that I know where you’re going, too bad I couldn’t join you.
I remember the time when you told me how remote the place you were based in Mongolia and how bad you missed me especially it coincided with Valentine’s Day.
I remember the time when you tried to share the views from your room in Hong Kong with me by sending me photos of the night views.
I remember how you told me you want to retire early, write a book and taking up photography.
I remember the time when I was extremely down and you called me at the right time saving me from the extreme down time, I kept crying on the phone and your advices made me think clearer.

There are so many to remember but can only think of these for now.

You are the one that made me fell in love over and over again and I hope there will be more to come. Miss you HEAPS!!!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (Caviar Ink)

Posted on June 25, 2010June 25, 2010 By sweet surrender No Comments on Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (Caviar Ink)

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar Ink, not mine of course. I don’t buy such expensive makeup, I can’t bring myself to part with my money to such makeup. My most expensive makeup collection is 3 pots of Benefit The Lana Look Creaseless Cream Shadow-Liner, I didn’t buy them, I won them from a contest.

This Bobbi Brown belongs to my sis. She’s back, so I get to try out her makeups ;p

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is waterproof, great for drawing the waterline. It didn’t budge even after 6 hours of using it but it’s not smudge proof. At the end of the day, I got the line imprinted on my lid, that was when I used it on my upper lid.

The photo you see here, I drew my waterline with Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. As for the upper lid, I was using SILKYGIRL Precision Liquid Eyeliner(this is the one and only eyeliner that doesn’t smudge on me but since it’s liquid, I can’t draw on my waterline, don’t have the skill hahaha…)

At least this is the only eyeliner that stays on my waterline after a long day. Those that I tried before(excluding SILKYGIRL’s) all gone from my waterline after a long day and smudge me crazy!

Japan Boat Takoyaki @ Food Inc. @ Hills

Posted on June 24, 2010June 24, 2010 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Japan Boat Takoyaki @ Food Inc. @ Hills

The food court at Hills Shopping Mall is called Food Inc. I thought it’s a very big one but my oh my… It’s quite small and there were still many empty stalls for rent.

Anyway, the reason I was there was to try out the Japan Boat Takoyaki. I read quite a number of good reviews in forums about it. So I decided to try it out since it’s been quite awhile not having takoyaki. Quite miss it.

Japan Boat Takoyaki is actually orginated from Sabah. We bought 2 boxes for RM6, if only 1 box, then it’s RM3.50.

You get a box of 3 takoyaki. You can choose original or with wasabi. No extra charge for wasabi. We bought one box of original and wasabi.

The taste? Not bad, I quite like it. You see those flakes, those are Katsuobushi shavings, lots of them, I like it very much. I also like the diced baby octopus in there. I prefer this rather than the one that I bought last time at Jalan Song or during Kuching Festival.

You can check out their website http://www.japanboat.com.my/

Delizze

Posted on June 23, 2010June 29, 2010 By sweet surrender 17 Comments on Delizze

I’ve been hearing quite a lot of good feedbacks from my friends about Delizze which is located at Premier 101. Very easy to spot, you will not miss it when you are there. Decided to try the place out last night with my friend.

The place is divided into three sections, the bakery, the deli and the restaurant.

Pastrami, sausages, you can get them here.

Left: The menu, look at the boy, isn’t he adorable?

Right: Plain water(free flow, FOC) and Ice Blended Cappuccino(RM6.50). This is the most expensive drink in the menu. Very reasonable right? I wanted Ice Blended Chocolate but was out of stock.

I ended up ordering Malta(RM3.50).

We decided to try out some food there and ordered Cold Cuts Sandwiches(RM9.50), 4 mini rolls served with home made cold cuts, pastrami, mushroom lyonner, bologna & hunter, served with salad, tomatoes and cucumber accompanied with home made fries.

I love it. Tasted great and portion was huge enough for us, good for sharing with friends, I definitely cannot finish the whole plate myself. Really worth the price. Since there were only two of us, we had two each, so full!

I love the roll, I’m not really into breads or buns but I love these rolls. The fries was good too.

They have local cuisines too but I really don’t recommend them because it’s expensive. You better go for the western food. We saw the orders of the other diners, the portion was HUGE!

If you are there, order the food, share and split the cost among your friends, don’t have to order drinks since the plain water is free. It’s not that expensive if you do that.

However, be reminded that there’s a 10% service charge.

Gonna try out the place again when have the chance because I want to try some other main courses.

Not Being Talk About

Posted on June 22, 2010June 23, 2010 By sweet surrender No Comments on Not Being Talk About

Found the phrase on the tag of the vest my sis bought for me.

“The only thing worse than being talked about… is not being talk about”

It’s so true!

So if you don’t like the person, don’t talk about him or her to anyone 😉 He or she doesn’t deserve to be given such attention.

Interesting, Randomness
