Jase Tea Room

Posted on September 14, 2009December 6, 2009 By sweet surrender No Comments on Jase Tea Room

Streamyx not back yet, here’s a quick update.

On my birthday, Lee planned something and “kidnapped” or “forced” me out that night after dinner with my family. *blek* Knew this guy was planning something but didn’t think that’s he’s serious about it hahaha…

Went to Jase Tea Room at Premier 101, only few shops away from bing!. My first time there. I know… It’s there for ages and this is my first time there. *LOL*

Ordered Earl Grey on Lee’s account of course ;p They have many other types of teas available there, if you love tea, you can have your tea here. It’s not the teabag kind. You can make choice from the small bottles at the small table near the counter. WOW! So many kind! Tiramisu, Pina Colada and more… Quite surprising.

Ann and Jee came and joined us too. I have no idea how much these drinks cost ;p The one you see here with mint ice cream was custom made, you can’t find it in the menu, somebody took the drink from somewhere else to Jase ;p Hahaha…

The cake made by Lee on that very same day, fresh out of oven. Thanks. Lemon sponge cake in there, very lemony. Yummy!

How can we miss taking a group photo right? Oh… The one behind the camera isn’t in here! *LOL* we’ve known each other for almost 10 years and this is the first time we celebrate a birthday together. Can you believe it? We always hang out together, do things together but never celebrate a single birthday together until now. Even don’t quite remember each other birthday until now *LOL*

Ann and Jee, thanks for coming and the present too.

No Update

Not long after 12am, no more Internet! ARG! Luckily I’ve done most of my things except sending my daily e-mail to him. Thought of compiling it after brushing my teeth then after that go to sleep but sigh… No line at all.

Thought it would be back today morning but NO!! Since this is what happens usually. Waited and waited and finally couldn’t stand it so I called Streamyx support just now and guess what?!?! How lucky of me to be in one of the areas that is affected by line problem. Nothing can be done, can only wait…

Luckily there’s Celcom to the rescue even though it’s slow but better than nothing. Still cannot use the net for too long, have to share with other users in the house. Have to take turn.

So that’s all for now. Hopefully the line will be back tomorrow.

Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.3: Beaches @ Sentosa

Posted on September 12, 2009September 13, 2009 By sweet surrender No Comments on Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.3: Beaches @ Sentosa

This is the last part of Sentosa. It’s all about the beaches. There were 3 beaches but we only went to 2 of them, Siloso and Palawan. Skipped Tanjong coz getting lazy and tired already.

Siloso beach… Camwhored quite a fair bit but I just looked horrible in most photos. I felt that I’m not comfortable in front of cameras anymore unless I’m the one taking my own photos. I guess it’s because gone are those days that I kept having cameras pointing all over me to take my photos and I would be so natural in responding to them. Now… I feel awkward. A sign of feeling old? OH NO! Hahaha…

At Siloso, you can play volleyball there.

Views of Siloso.

Rasa Sentosa Resort.

Then we went to the Beach Station and caught another ride to Palawan Beach. The purple vehicle is one of the rides that send you to those beaches.

There’s a suspension bridge that links beach-goers to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia (and also Asia’s closest point to the Equator). AIKS! I only know now after checking out Sentosa official website! If I knew back then I would have cross it! Was too lazy to walk that time and thought it was nothing special but a bridge.

Having great time at the beach with the family. Actually this is just a section of the actual photo. This is the bottom part of the photo.

Here…

This is the top part of the photo. After seeing this kind of view from both beaches, I some how started to appreciate our beaches here better. You don’t get this kind of view at our beaches here.

Honestly, I don’t want my children to grow up seeing or playing at beach with such view. Sorry if I offended some people as to me, a beach should be a place that you see the sea and sky join together with no other objects obstructing it except islands or some small boats.

Love beers? Wanna chill out? Bora Bora Beach Bar is the place you can do so. I fell on my knee here. Bruised my knee and cut my right foot when I lost my balance stepping on the section between the real sand and hard surface covered with sand. Mind you, these seats here are only for customers of the bar, you will get to sit here if you order something here. It’s not for the public. I would have take my time chilling out here if I’m with my darling and on a no fuss and relaxing trip but nuh-uh… That’s not the case.

Next… You can have the option of clicking on to read more or skip it. Let me warn you first, I’m not responsible if you loss your appetite

Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.2: Sentosa

Posted on September 11, 2009September 12, 2009 By sweet surrender No Comments on Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.2: Sentosa

Headed to Siloso with the bus ride.

These are some of the food and beverage outlets. That cutie over there looked right into my camera hehehe… Wonder what he’s thinking? Is he thinking I’m taking his photo? I didn’t even realized there’s a cutie until I came back to Kuching and viewed all the photos I had taken. 😛

The Underwater World is located here. I was thinking of going in but sigh… Travel companion didn’t want to go in.

So… Just make do with the Underwater Viewing Chamber out there.

You can find turtles and stingrays there too.

Time for lunch. We had ours at Kowloon Food Express.

Ordered Chicken Rice Set(SGD8) and Singapore Style Fried Bee Hoon(SGD6). Chicken rice was not bad, the fried bee hoon got nothing to rave about, it’s just fried bee hoon hahaha…

Not far from the The Underwater World, there’s another attraction called Fort Siloso.

After that, we headed to Siloso Beach but before that we saw a peacock there, only one peacock. There’s many peahens. Was hoping the peacock will show off its tail but it didn’t, too bad…

Next up will be beaches! Me in bikini perhaps?

Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.1: Vivo City & Sentosa

Posted on September 10, 2009September 11, 2009 By sweet surrender No Comments on Singapore Trip: Day 4(20/8/09): Part 4.1: Vivo City & Sentosa

This is the last day we can go around and decided not to walk too much. It would be Sentosa the whole day.

We went to Vivo City to board the monorail to Sentosa. Before that, we walked around Vivo City. Went to their Sky Park.

Weather was pretty hot coz it’s almost noon.

After that, we bought our tickets at the ticketing machine. The ticket cost SGD3/person for to and fro trip to Sentosa with the monorail.

There! Our tickets. The view you see here is from the monorail. The day was slightly overcast luckily there was not a bit of rain.

More view… Going into Sentosa.

The monorail. You can opt for going to the Beach station or Imbiah Station. We decided to go to Imbiah first and beach would be the last. Greeted with lots of greens.

The Merlion is there, this one allows you to go up to the top with the built-in lift in the Merlion. You have to pay for all the rides and all of the attractions there, it’s not included. Can you spot me? *LOL*

After that, we walked up using the escalator to the other part of Imbiah Lookout and reached Images of Singapore, you have to pay for this also. We didn’t go into any attraction or ride that required us to pay, we just walked around.

Thought of going up this ride(Tiger Sky Tower) but after seeing it, we felt that it’s not worth it, go for Singapore Flyer is more worth it but we didn’t go.

There’s butterfly farm and also luge & skyride.

After that, we went to the bus stop to catch the bus to Siloso Beach. There were 3 colours of routes for you to choose. We didn’t bother, we just hopped on the one with shorter queue. Besides, the places were all easily accessible with any bus there. By the way, the bus rides were free.

Next up will be the beach…
