Vogue Cafe

I’m going to stop updating about my Penang trip for today ;p Will resume tomorrow. Haven’t reach 50% yet! Need to update something locally and outdated, if put there too long later I forget.

I know… I know… Almost everyone in the blogsphere went there already, summore some actually treat there like a home already hahaha… I’m super duper slow and late. It’s too out of the way for me and I’m more of a lone ranger and rather anti-social lately. I seldom go out to mix around, not that I like to do that last time, depending on my mood. Most of the time, I prefer to face the computer playing games after busying rather than going out, it makes me even more tired. A sign of growing old? ;p

I went there for lunch before I catch my flight that night to Penang. Everyone is saying good things about it. I will also say good things about it. Everything is quite good except I waited for almost 1 hour for my food but I’m not rushing to go anywhere so I don’t really mind. It was almost full house also. Good thing the food came out delicious else I will not be happy. Price wise it’s very reasonable and it’s worth it, they are not stingy with their ingredients. However, I just feel there’s something missing but I don’t know what. Don’t care about it, it’s not my business anyway.

Left: Mango Tango(RM5.90), highly recommended! Those are real mango, it’s not preserved, fresh mango, lots of them!
Right: Watermelon ice blended(RM4.90).

Stewed pork leg(RM5.90), it smelt so nice! The gravy was thick! Serve to you pipping hot. The stewed pork portion is quite big and I can assure you that that one serving of rice won’t be enough for you to finish the pot of stewed pork.

Butter chicken(RM5.90), I tried butter chicken from many places and they got nothing to rave but this one I give it two thumbs up! OH MY! Damn thick! I dipped it into the soy sauce+chili, it was heavenly. Honestly, I don’t really like to order dish like this which the rice is served with something on the same plate if I have a choice. They did a good job of seperating it, usually people will just use the same plate to serve it.

Wondering where is the location? You know 4 1/2 mile? Where 688 located? It’s at that commercial centre. The next door is a pet shop. Opposite is Unaco.

Next door is pet shop?! You mean Lucky Pet House? How come when I went there to buy cat food I didn’t notice Vogue? Hmm…. Will try out based on your recommendation. ;D

Hey Irene, How’s everything going? Well, this place is just outside my old place.. Probably don’t turn to the back of the kitchen.. not a beauty as the food is.. I go past the back many times and that is one of the reason why I never dine in although it’s just one minute walk from my house.

Ann, hmm… Don’t think so. It’s not there. The one you say the next door is snow ice shop. It’s the commercial centre opposite it.

Patrick, hehehe… Fine, fine ;p Don’t worry as I won’t be going there too often, this might be my first and last as it’s too out of the way but those ppl that treat it like home already then that-I-don’t-know ;p

Ah, I see. I thought it’s next to Lucky Pet House. I suggested to Jee and he said they’re expensive. *LOL* Never mind, I want to try it some day.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
