Remember my encounter with the haunted hotel in Bintulu last year? This time, it’s from my roommate perspective. Not going to be a long one.
Apparently, my roommate could sense these “things”, it’s a part of her. She didn’t tell me anything while we were in Bintulu. She only shared with me after we’re in Miri. On that night, she just kept quiet, pretended nothing happened. In fact, she already sensed something not right once arrived.
At the lobby, while waiting for check-in, I told her I wanted to go the toilet and asked her to accompany me but she didn’t want to. So I just hold until we reached our room.
In the room, I was on my laptop, we were waiting for the rest to get ready for dinner. While I was on my computer minding my own business, she actually heard our window was banged really hard. I didn’t hear a thing yet I was sitting next to the window! She heard dog howl too and I didn’t hear anything too! She just sat quietly next to me and didn’t say a thing.
Then I suddenly told her that I won’t dare to be in the room myself, she agreed but didn’t say much. On the way to Miri, she told me that it was strange that I actually said such thing that night. Came to think of it, indeed I’m not the kind that would say this kind of thing.
So basically this is from her perspective. She just forced herself to sleep that night. I was in the bathroom for quite long as I have a lot of things to do hahaha… I didn’t sensed anything amiss and just minding my own business even after my friend hinted me in FB. She just tried to keep herself entertained with TV on high volume and chatting with her friends on her phone. Even though we had moved to a new room, we still switched on the TV and all the lights to sleep until the morning.
The next morning, our travel mates told us that we would be checking out to another hotel because they experienced something. Phew… What a relief! With all that happened to the other people in our group, there is no way we could stay for another night. It’s just too much!
Next up, I’ll be sharing the experiences of my other travel mates who encountered the “things” first hand!
That’s all for now. Been really busy, hence the slow update.
What’s the hotel name? Going to Bintulu next month, would want to avoid this. The first letter or initials would do, no need to give the name in full, thanks.
Oh? In your previous post, you did mention that they have branches in Kuching and Sibu. I guess I can keep that in mind. Thanks.
suituapui! I know your cousin! Hehehe… One of the very old hotel. In Sibu also famous for haunted encounters, the one in Sibu is near the river. I guess you will know since you’re from Sibu. The one with very Chinese name hahaha…
Ok, I know which one that is now. The one in Kuching has no connection, I think. Even the spelling of the name is different.
Have not heard of any stories about the one in Sibu lately – just complaints about the noise all night long from the pubs and nightclubs all around that area.
Hmmmm…I wonder which cousin.
suituapui, yea… I figure shouldn’t have connection as I did notice the difference in the spelling but sounds the same. The one in Sibu, I heard a lot of haunted stories from people but oh well… Never stay there, never encounter it too. At least the one in Bintulu, I’m there with those experienced it, sure is one experience!
Hello~ suituapui! I’m a paranormal investigator! But I’m not active yet. I am still learning. Maybe one day, you can contact me.
Haru, 🙂
