I’m back! Feel slightly relieve because I don’t have to take public transport, do not need to do so much of walking around, sleep on my own bed, and do whatever I like without worrying about making mistakes but at the same time not that happy to be back because I have to face stupid problem that’s been haunting me for quite a while and there is still no proper solution for it. Anyway, this will be story for another day.
I haven’t got the time to filter out who are the winners for the contest but I think the final questions are enough to let me make the decision. I’ll let you know the result soon. I was having tough time looking for prizes all over Singapore for the winners and ended up I have no idea which I should give for the winners as I bought quite a number along the way and kept changing my mind on what to give, some related to Singapore, some not related at all. I’m still deciding which prize to give ;p Thanks everyone for the support.
Just a quick summary(might miss out here and there), I haven’t go tru’ the photos yet:
Day 1: Off to Singpoare, 1 hour and 5 minutes flight with Tiger Airways, first time travel on it. Very noisy flight, don’t know why. Not only that, some of the passengers were really pain in the ass to handle, pitied the flight crews. Got a bit of shocked when reach the airport hahaha… It’s not what I had expected. More on it in coming post.
Day 2:
Cut my finger with the blister pack of my contact lens.
Off to Bugis, Suntec, City Hall, and Orchard Road. Bought something at Sephora, was excited to see Sephora in Singapore!
Cut my finger again, this time, my bag’s buckle.
Thanks to Simon for meeting us up at Suntec and later sent us to Orchard Road.
Day 3:
Go around Sembawang, bought a cardigan.
Then to Chinatown, Clark Quay, Robertson Quay, and The Merlion. Skipped Little India, too tired and lazy to navigate there. Bought something at Chinatown.
Almost fell down at Robertson Quay.
Thanks Simon and his gf for the ride and the dinner 😉
Day 4:
Dedicated the whole day for Sentosa. Bruised my knee and scratched my foot at Pelawan Beach.
Didn’t expect to buy 1 and a half set of bikinis there *LOL* When I tried them out, I saw the flab! OH NO!!! -.-” Have to get rid of it! More about it in coming post.
When on the way back to Vivo City, my whole right arm started to pain for no apparent reason that I cannot put any pressure or carry anything with it, I had to rely on my left hand to do everything -.-”
Went back after dinner at Vivo City and started packing.
Couldn’t really sleep because of the arm pain.
Day 5:
Final packing, off to the airport and again… Relied on my left hand to carry my luggage and so on, right hand and arm were still painful. Thought it got better the next day but after I carried my nephew, the pain came back.
Wanted to buy a duty free perfume as my first perfume but ended up bought nothing, really couldn’t part with my money even though knowing that I won’t be able to get the perfume here and those that I can get here are cheaper there.
The flight was a noisy one and the passengers were really “uncivilized”, I’m sure the crews are having really hard time handling these people. Managed to see nice clear view of Kuching from the sky before landing. For the first time in my life as usually either I’m sitting away from the window or weather or time didn’t permit it.
Overall, spent very little, thought will spend a lot, spent only about 20% or less of the money I brought. Oh well… Initial plan was interrupted so not much money was spent. Furthermore, can’t shop much in Singapore at all, most of the things are very expensive as in if you convert the money back to Ringgit.
That’s all for now 🙂 TONNES of photos to filter!! Wonder how long will it takes me to complete my “adventure” in Singapore.
Welcome back! I would love to visit Singapore again after the last trip 10 years ago…..must make it in my travel itinerary for next year :p
Nice trip… This will give me some guides when I visit Sg in future.. :p
Rose, 😉 So many new things to see now. Lots of changes too.
