I’m sure those who like to read or frequent the bookstores will know about Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. I’m not keen to invest in such book or any type of book as I’m more of a magazine type of person. I haven’t really read a book for let’s see… Almost a decade? *LOL*

Few days back, my parents got back from their UK trip and took out this book from the luggage. I stared with disbelief and was thinking why on earth they bought this book all the way from UK?!?!
Was told that it belonged to my sis’ friend who didn’t want the book anymore and wanted to throw it away. My dad decided to keep it and brought it back after seeing the printed price (£17.99) on the book hahaha… In fact, they did bring some other “junks” back, this is just one of them. That will be story for other days or there’ll never be one ;p
I’m thinking of selling them off if anyone wants them. If not I’ll just keep it along with my book/novel collection somewhere in the cupboard collecting dust in which they’re all given to me by people, I don’t think I had bought any book/novel. Rest assure that I did finish reading every single one of them way back when I was still in school except my college and uni textbooks *LOL*
I started reading a bit of it yesterday. My first time reading a chick-lit novel, I usually just flipped through at the bookstore because of the cover design. I used to read those detective or adventure novels when I was in primary and secondary school but never this kind.
I’m done with the first two chapters and I’m not sure I’m going to finish the whole book. I can’t seem to find the time for it. There are too many other more interesting things and works to be done. We’ll see how it goes.
The book is quite easy to read. I think I can finish it in 24 hours if I don’t have do anything for the whole 24 hours.
Are you interested in collecting this book as your collection? Do let me know 😉
By the way, remember the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic? I did watch it, it was quite funny and for those who don’t know(I’m sure you all know), the film is an adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels.

It would certainly seem as though diamond drop earrings are still in style and will stay that way for some time. America Ferrara wore a pair of stunning 2.5 carat diamond pendant earrings and she was not the only one either. Other stars who donned diamond drop earrings included Audra McDonald and Anastasia Griffith. Candace Bergen might have been off the screen for awhile but she also made an appearance wearing a similar pair of diamond earrings set in platinum as well.
Colored diamond earrings were also out in full swing as well. Chandra Wilson donned a pair of fancy cut diamond drop earrings in yellow. Emilie de Raven was caught wearing a pair of diamond earrings that were also set with cognac diamonds as well. Both pairs of earrings would certainly seem to indicate the colored diamonds, particularly in the hues of browns and yellows, are going to remain popular for some time.
The sizes of the earrings also tended to vary on the red carpets this year as well. A number of stars wore drop diamond earrings, although there were some who went with diamond hoops as well. Jean Smart wore a pair of diamond chandelier earrings while Kyra Sedgwick wore a pair of pyramid diamond earrings set in platinum. Lauren Conrad went with something a bit different and wore a pair of diamond stud earrings.
Bracelets were also out in force on the red carpet this year. One of the hottest trends that have been seen in the last few months and are expected to last throughout the early part of next year is chunky or cuff bracelets. Several celebrities were seen wearing just this style of bracelet on the red carpet this year, many of which were set with diamonds and other gemstones. Ashley Jensen was just one celebrity who chose to wear a cuff bracelet. The particular bracelet that she wore was set with sixty carats worth of diamonds. Rumor has it that the bracelet was valued at nearly half a million dollars. Of course, that was nothing compared to the diamond cuff bracelet that Katrina Bowden wore. Her bracelet had more than 65 carats worth of diamonds and had a reported worth of $545,000.
Statement necklaces were also on hand this year. America Ferrera made news when she wore a 19th century diamond necklace with a flower pendant. Diamonds by the yard necklaces were sported by both Candice Bergen as well as Heidi Klum. Collar necklaces also appeared to be quite popular as well. Nicollette Sheridan was seen wearing just this style of necklace.
