First tasted Bailey’s few months back. Interesting taste I must say. Baileys Irish Cream is an Irish whiskey and cream based liqueur, made by Gilbeys of Ireland. I don’t drink in Malaysia but I’ve been drinking quite a lot ever since some time middle of the year onwards because of someone who likes to drink. From there, I tasted all sort of alcoholic drinks and get to know now more about alcohol.

My housemate introduced Bailey’s Irish Cream Hazelnut to me when she came back from her year end holiday in Malaysia. We had it with ice, namely Baileys on the Rock (ice cubes and Baileys). Guys usually won’t like it but for girls, it’s acceptable to them as it’s sweet. Then again, I still don’t like the taste of alcohol. For those who wonder how it tastes like, just imagine vanilla milk with alcohol.

Got this bottle as a gift at Melbourne, 200ml, thought of having it as collection but when I look at the best before date, I decided to drink it *LOL* this is my very first alcoholic beverage in Kuching after coming for almost 2 months. I have another bottle, 1 litre from KLIA which I asked my sis to buy ;p Creme Caramel flavour, I’m not sure when will I open it to drink.

John’s Pie

John’s Pie is located at No: 14, Ground Floor, Wisma Phoniex,, Song Thian Cheok Road, where 360 Xpress Citycenter is located. The building used to housed Up Well.


Went there to try its smoky hot beef pie (RM5.50). Not bad. I’m not a fan of meat pie but this is acceptable to me. At least it’s WAYYYYY BETTTERRR than Secret Recipes’. Just this one pie is enough to fill you up! We also tried the Portugese Egg Tart, not bad too.

It’s just a very small shop, more suitable for a quick bite during tea break or takeaway.

By the time this post is published, I should be on my way to London on MAS A380.

Finally! I get to step foot in UK and Paris. In fact, I was thinking of staying there for at least 3 months but things were all very uncertain that time so I didn’t dare be away for too long. Well… It’s not like things are certain now at all. Still uncertain. Hopefully next year I can be away for longer and it’ll be going around some European countries.

I’m gonna be away from Kuching for 2 weeks. There will be some schedule posts during this two weeks. Will update via Twitter if there is Internet access or have time. See you when I’m back!

Sarawak Grand Timber & SME’s Expo 2013 happened last weekend and I only blog about it now! This is the rate I’m going in blogging these days -.-”


Went there to have a look with my family. Visitors were required to register. It’s not as simple as just filling in the form, they even print out a name tag for you! WOW! So pro!

It only opened to public till 6pm, we spent almost 2 hours there. I’m surprised with how long we spent our time there. Not bad, lots to see.

I got Kanebo Freshel All-in-one Whitening UV Gel (RM67) from attending Kate’s event organized by Everrise last week. I’m so glad I went and I’m so glad they included this product as a door gift! If not I will never know such product exists and even if I knew, I don’t think I will buy it as it’s in the price range I’m not willing to spend money on and I’m not familiar with this product too.

My morning skincare routine can be a rather long one. Have been “suffering” for ages. After discovering Kanebo Freshel All-in-one Whitening UV Gel, the daily morning skincare routine gone down from at least 15 minutes to less than 3 minutes! Amazing! This products has 5 functions (lotion, essence, emulsion, cream, mositurizing makeup base) in one tub! In fact, this bottle has 6 functions, there’s UV filter! So there’s sunscreen in this tub too.

Here’s my normal morning skincare routine:
Eye gel > Toner > serum(sometimes) > moisturiser > sunscreen

Now:
Eye gel > Kanebo Freshel All-in-one Whitening UV Gel

Crazy! No? Normally I waited rather long because I had to wait for serum and/or mosituriser to fully absorb before applying sunscreen. Then before applying makeup, I need to wait for the sunscreen to absorb. Now, no need for such wait. The gel is amazing, easy to spread and absord really fast. Left my skin so smooth to touch. Not sitcky or even shiny.

At the end of the day, my face still produce oil but not that much anymore and not feeling uncomfortable as usually I would feel rather uncomfortable as if my face had a layer of wax because of the combination of waterproof sunscreen and sebum.

Kanebo Freshel All-in-one Whitening UV Gel is now my must-have. If you don’t want to spend so much time in the morning doing your morning skincare routine, then this is something you must invest in. The tub is 80ml for RM67, 5 (rather 6) functions in one and will last you for ages! You only need a little. Not expensive at all. Imagine how much money you can save by not buying all the other products for your morning skincare routine. To me, it’s time that matters!
