Do you know that My Chicken Restaurant is opening another branch at Pending? It started business since last week, about a week ago.
It’s located at the same row of Unaco, the new commercial centre at Pending, near Yoshi Square.
Went there on its opening for lunch with my family. There’s opening promotion so we bought the promotion set. The one on the left was the promotion set. The one on the right is the free set that came with the promotion set. All together RM9+, quite worth it if compare to normal priced items on the menu. Each came with a cup of soft drink too.
The other time we bought the fried chicken back, it’s cold when reached home. This time we decided to dine there to reassess the taste. Hmm… Salt and pepper but more salt. It’s not the same like KFC or McD. The more I ate the saltier it got.

Looks decent. Will try it out with my family sometime. But will go to the Tabuan Jaya branch instead.

i am just only interested to see how long My Chic Rest. can survive, huhuhu….i tried for the first time because of my curious and for sure that will be my last visit too, ooohhhhh…..Rm9…..u said worth ???? 1st, the chic wouldn’t taste better even SugarBun, Marry Brown even taste much better than MyCR, but MB at E-Mart Matang yet still have to closed their business after operating for only 1-2 years. 2nd ly, they “force”(seems like that) u to buy a drink if u order a set, coz u don’t have a choice to choose without drink for the set meal in their menu, that’s really unacceptable, so if u tapao, u must buy drink too. 3rd ly, next time when i miss fried chicken, i will still thinking of KFC. MyChicRest is nothing to me. Lastly, MyChicRest’s menu also too simple, seems nothing else besides fried chicken.
ahbeng, worth as in comparing to other things on the menu and not comparing with other places. Besides, we’re ordering the promo set, promo set where got options one. Fixed one of course. We’ll see how long they can survive.
You should try fried chicken at Apollo Chicken in Samarahan (which is opposite Unaco Supermarket). Beside fried chicken, they have lemon chicken, curry chicken, salad chicken and many more.

well, i love my own fried chicken recipe better, so as my family members. And i tried my-chicken-restaurant too, well, i still think that better i just have my own fried chicken at home, hehe….
