My dad said that for so many years, he has never seen such kind of situation in Kuching. He stays in Kuching all his life and this is the first time he sees Kuching under flood attack. I’m sure this goes the same to every single Kuching kia no matter young or old.
Remember I blogged about it last Sunday? It was after my class at around 5.30pm. No more non-stop rain but on and off rain on Sunday afternoon. Then I was greeted with flash floods on my way home. I thougth it was bad enough already but I didn’t expect it to get worst later in the evening. Luckily I got home earlier else I might be stranded *SWEAT* even if I can drive tru’ the flood coz my car is higher but who knows I might drive into the drain or something -.-” Who knows right?
My dad went for a dinner on Sunday night at Jalan Song Thian Cheok and was complaining about the flood and the crawling traffic but I didn’t expect it actually turn so bad compare to what I had encountered earlier.
Where are the photos you might ask. Just visit catscity.net. I had uploaded all the photos there. That’s all I have and it happened that those photos are places that I did pass by when I was on my way home on Sunday.
Another king tide is coming soon in 1-2 hours time, so be prepared! I hope it’s not as bad as Sunday’s since there’s no non-stop rain yesterday and today.
Oh my..the flood was THAT bad? I didn’t even know. Haih. The weather is so bad lately. Can die from depression. LOL.
Lol.. Dun pray-pray oh.. Yesterday also got flood around my area here, and expected tonite would be worst.. So let’s hope no rain tonite ya.. >.<
i passed by the market area last night, wah, after flood, rubbish everywhere, so terrible, like after robbed..
Yeah.. most people say Kuching is badly flooded this time. My aunt whom has a house in Matang is worried..
It’s giving everyone headache and I think it shouldn’t be that bad compare to Sunday’s.
Aiyo so bad ah… then must be careful lor, don’t get drifted by the water. 🙂
Irene, hahaha… Luckily not drifted by it.
