After Eastwood Valley, my friend brought us to a very nice place, there’s an old golf course there, further up there a place where they known it as the middle of the sea. Hmmm… Many poeple like that place lot. It’s a place where the anglers like. The view is quite nice. That explains why I have so many photos of it hehehe… It’s not excatly a beach, don’t know how to explain. I saw it from my hotel room everyday day and I told myself that I should go there but hahaha… It’s quite far and have no idea how to go π
When we reached there, then I realised this is the place that I’ve been seeing everyday! Finally… The surrounding isn’t very nice but when you are there you can feel peace… I don’t know how to explain, it’s like the whole load of your stresses and burdens just gone away.
What is that small building? Hehehe… I have no idea…
View of South China Sea.
The city can be viewed from here.
Another view… At the far end, see the right end of the photo, there’s actually a place for seafood and there’s a very big seahorse there. You can climb up and view the sea from there. It’s too far, can’t capture it with my camera hehehe…
Left: On our way to Taman Awam Miri, we passed by Pelita Tunku. According to my friend, this is the earliest shopping complex in Miri.
Right: Taman Awam Miri(Miri Public Garden), it’s fondly known as the “hanging bridge” as there’s a hanging bridge there.
Left: Part of the garden.
Right: The bridge.
More of the bridge hahaha…
Left: See the slides below? It’s a public pool for the children to play in the evening.
Right: The walking path for evening stroll with your love ones.
Left: After the garden, we went to the airport. This is the departure hall.
Right: We were the 5th and 6th to check-in. WOW! My first time sitting at the front row of economy class hehehe… Too bad… No window seat this time… Sucks…
Manage to take some photos as the leg room is quite big in the front row, so could take some photos using zoom without distracting the guy sleeping at the window seat. The ride was quite bumpy due to the clouds and because of that the landing was delayed. We’re circling the sky for quite a while before getting the permission to land.
DONE! Phew… My 3 days in Miri…
Are you regretting coming to Miri?
honfui, nope… I think it’s quite nice to relax, views you don’t get for Kuching. Hehehe… Should be more fun if my friend wasn’t sick π
The nice place you mentioned I had been there too. You should take a shot on the houses nearby the road. I personally found those very relaxing to stay, wish to own one too, hehe. The public park is the heaven for kids. Not really like to be there especially under the burning sun!
jam, hehehe.. Those houses… But that time raining… can’t take any pic -.-” the public park very hot hahaha… What to do? That’s the only time my friend was free and it’s before we went to airport, so stop by just to take some pics
Make sure that your next visit itinerary include Mulu and Niah caves. They are world renown caves. If you more time, visit my house. I was having “house warming” when you’re in Miri. I was so busy that I don’t have time for Internet. Also announce your plan much earlier la..
honfui, wah… I announced it quite many months ago π hehehe… so far only one person responded to me. Then, my friends told me kinda last minute that he’s down with chicken pox and I don’t know who else I know there hahaha… So become like this. If my friend not sick, I would be going to Brunei(but passport expired so cannot haha…), Bintulu and of course Niah.
Sorry, I must have missed that blog of yours.
honfui, hehehe.. no problem π Coz my posts turnaround very fast thats’ why you might have miss it. I also forget that you’re in Miri, sure will let you know personally hahaha…
