Ipoh Town Kopitiam @ Brighton Square

Posted on October 12, 2009 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Ipoh Town Kopitiam @ Brighton Square

I almost forget about this place. Went there almost 2 months ago. Just for your information, Brighton Square is where FTMS located. Still don’t know? You know Titanium? That high rise building just around the traffic light heading to Jalan Song, 3rd mile, and the airport. Very easy to spot.

Ipoh Town Kopitiam is opening a branch at Brighton Square.

Nothing much to say about it but business is pretty good. The food you see here wasn’t ordered by me, it’s curry chicken rice. I don’t remember the price.

Just to let you know this new place that’s all ;p

Hi Irene. I’ve tried Ipoh Town a couple of times. The coffee is good. The food is reasonable but not great. Good place for a light breakfast.

Borneoboy, I think the food price for lunch/dinner is a bit too high if you are ordering it ala-carte considering it’s not air-conditioned. The food really got not much to rave. Breakfast is OK.

Have you tried the new Life Cafe restaurant just opened next to Ipoh Town?

Hi Nate and Irene. They have an outlet at Carpenter Street. This is a branch I think. The food is mainly Taiwanese style dishes, e.g. beef noodles, chicken chop noodles, Taiwanese sausages, etc.

borneoboy, they said it’s franchise rather than branch *shrug* anyway, what I heard is the the food and drinks are priced slightly higher than the one at Carpenter Street.

Why do you want to dig that far?
