It’s been a while not posting eating out post. Last Sunday, mom didn’t cook, so we went out for dinner and ended up at Hong Kong Noodle House at Padungan again…
Left: The dried chili oil but it’s not oily, it’s quite dry. First time encounter the dry one here. It’s quite hard to dip when it’s not wet.
Right: I’m not sure what this is called, translate from the Chinese name is Champagne Pork Rib Rice, but in the menu it’s called Fried Pork Rib Rice and the one above it also got the same name. Therefore if you want to order, you have to know either the Chinese name or the number. For this case, it’s number 27. Too sweet for my liking. Last time I ordered, it came with cucumber slices and tomato, now not a single slice of any of those. The price? RM5.00.
Left: Roast Duck Noodle(RM4.50).
Right: Pork Porridge(RM3.50).
Saw this at the entrance so decided to order it to try. This is called Crispy Pork Intestine(RM8), a mixture of deep fried big and small pork intestine. Indeed very crispy. To me, I find it OK, not so bad but my parents didn’t like it, they said better eat Kueh Chap hahaha…
I’ll go with your parents taste. Pork intestines are ONLY NICE in kueh chap, Pork rice, or porrige..
They taste weird when its crispy or fried. π
