I didn’t take much photos last night and didn’t really mingle around too. I only stayed put at my seat and didn’t move until it’s time to go home. Not really in the mood really as something made me upset yesterday before the meet.

Ivan, Mike, Frankie, and Grace reached there about 7.30pm. Then at about 8.30pm or so, more and more coming but I only manage to know Alex. Only greeted Anna but didn’t talk to her.

Basically in this post, I’ll be posting some candid shoots and come out with some funny(or not funny at all) captions. No offence ok? Just for fun. Feel free to share your creativity with us.

Alex: Ahh~~ Duckie!
UnkerHo: Not this duck again?
Alex: I want take photo with it. *pose, Tarlia takes photo*
UnkerHo: This say kia(kids in Hokkien), really no respect one. Treat me like I’m invisible.

Left:
Anna busy with her mobile phone. Ann spotted me taking photo. The rest mind their own business.
Right:
Grace: Frank, Frank, Irene takes photo.*smile*
Frank: I’m busy… Hmmm…

Left:
Jimmy: I’m sleepy…
Frank: Hmmm…
Right:
Camwhore time! I’m not sure who is the girl in orange. She accompanied Anna to the meet.
This is the first time I showed up at the meet without makeup :p Hahahah…

Left:
Alex and Robin were so happy because I took their photos πŸ˜›
Right:
UnkerHo: Cannot do this arrr Ken, cannot do that arrr… *nag nag nag*
Grace: OOooOoo…
Frank: Hmmm…
Ken: *Scratch eyebrow*

That’s all for the meet. You notice something in the photo? Frank was so engrossed with his camera. Hahaha…
To anyone… Send me photos that have me ok?

Fireworks Feast

Posted on February 19, 2007 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Fireworks Feast

First of all, thanks to Cripsy for sending me this photo. Amazing! Such a great timing! This is how Kuching looked like on the eve of CNY.

I tell you… This is really putting the government to shame! Don’t you think so? Since when you can see fireworks shooting up from every nook and corner of the city? All these are all from the citizens, bursting all their money to the sky right from their own house. Lots of rich people don’t you think? Hahaha… Imagine how much will it cost the government to do this, blasting firworks from every corner of the city? It’s illegal act but seeing this photo, do you think it’s illegal? *LOL* Are the authority doing their job? Anyway, don’t you think this view is amazing? Priceless…

This photo is taken with Nikon D40 summore!!! *drool* Thanks to Crispy again. Happy CNY!

Valentine’s Day 2007

Posted on February 15, 2007April 13, 2008 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Valentine’s Day 2007

Here’s our stall at Waterfront opposite of Hilton. The cosplayers helped to sell the roses and the plushies. Business wasn’t good. Too many people selling and the flowers were all in bad shape πŸ™ because we got the wrong flowers. Most of the bouquets dried up due to the wrong type of flowers used. They were so fresh and pretty on the 13th.

Other stalls at Waterfront.

Left: Another stall at Waterfront bus stop.
Right: Our cosplayers at Padungan. Tried to sell all the roses. They only managed to sell two there.

Then later at night after they went home, we reduced the price to RM5 and most of our buyers were our own friends(-.-“). Then we tried to cleared it by giving it out free when people buy a soft toy but no one bought any soft toys. 2 stalks left and one was sold at RM3/stalk. The last stalk wasn’t sold. 9 stalks were damaged πŸ™ because of the stupid small purple flowers that were wrapped together with the roses. They sucked up all the water of the roses. We suffered a loss lucky not much and good thing we didn’t take too many flowers.

I noticed that this year, not many people want to buy flowers as gift. They prefer things that are more practical. Me too. I’m happy if you give me flower but I’m happier if you give me CASH πŸ˜› or give me something practical. Do you know that the flowers cost a bomb and using that money, you can do better things with it? Too commercialised. I don’t care a damn about Valentine’s Day, there is no need to do all these things. You’ll get stuck in jam, eat overpriced dinners, buy overpriced gifts etc. Don’t see any point for it. Just stay at home and enjoy each other company is better. As long that you have the heart, any day can be Valentine’s Day.

Kenny Sia spotted with his girlfriend, Samantha. πŸ˜› Such a big bouquet she got. So sweet~~

Tabuan Jaya Chinese New Year Bazaar

Posted on February 11, 2007February 11, 2007 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Tabuan Jaya Chinese New Year Bazaar

Hehehe… Notice it or not? After 5 posts and still no sponsored post yet. πŸ˜›

If I’m not mistaken, today is the opening ceremony of Tabuan Jaya Chinese New Year Bazaar because when we had dinner at KFC, those “big people” went to KFC to have their refreshments at the second floor, the whole of second floor was reserved. At first I thought it’s the opening ceremony of the newly renovated KFC hahaha… The lion dance troop was following too but the lion dance was over, I thought I can take photos of lion dance as I had never taken any before and never blog about it too. Always missed the chance. Hmm.. I think I must go hunt for lion dance this CNY hehehe…

After our dinner, we walked around the bazaar and it’s was almost deserted. I was expecting heaps of people shopping there but see this…

I heard that it’s quite quiet at Padungan too. Business isn’t that good today.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
