Try To Withdraw Paypal Fund With My Alrajhi Bank Debit Card (1)

Posted on October 29, 2007October 29, 2007 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Try To Withdraw Paypal Fund With My Alrajhi Bank Debit Card (1)

Not satisfied with the “failed transaction” the other time using Jimmy’s debit card and Paypal account, I decided to to withdraw from my account using my own Alrajhi Bank debit card last night to see whether it works or not since there are quite a number of bloggers got their money already.

So… I add my card into my account and start withdrawing. Manage to accumulate some amount for about 1 month plus.

Nice numbers πŸ˜› Even after deducting the USD5 transaction fee hahaha…

Done! Now I need to wait. Based on those that got their money already, I’m predicting that I will be able to get mine this Friday or early next week.

We will just have to wait and see now…

Call Me!

Posted on October 28, 2007October 29, 2007 By sweet surrender No Comments on Call Me!

ARG!! It’s been months you’re not calling me πŸ™ Miss you so much. Where are you now? I supposed you are busy working now. Do you have someone that you miss? Someone staying at the other side of the world?

Long distant phone calls are never cheap. That’s what phone card is for! It helps you save money when you are calling your love ones at overseas. I know how expensive it is, I’ve been through it before. Good thing I’m not the one paying and not the one calling. Once the phone call actually came to more than RM1000(converted from Australian Dollar)!

Imagine that! It’s only a 65 minutes phone call. If a phone card is used, it won’t be this big amount. How about you? Ever spend so much on a phone call to your love ones?

Malaysians Can Withdraw Paypal Now! – Debit Card Version (3)

Posted on October 12, 2007October 12, 2007 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Malaysians Can Withdraw Paypal Now! – Debit Card Version (3)

Remember the post about Paypal withdrawal?

Our result is out! FAILED!

No money going in until today. So we will cancel the transaction though Payapl didn’t classify it as failed transaction. It’s more the 7 business days already. If it’s successful, the money should be in long time ago as those using Public Bank Visa Electron Debit Card had got their money already long before the 7 business days end.

GoLive! Mobile

Posted on October 9, 2007October 16, 2007 By sweet surrender No Comments on GoLive! Mobile

These days, everyone is talking about having websites for business. Do you ever consider making your website compatible with mobile devices which usually known as mobile website or wap site.

Setting up a mobile website is different from normal website setup. It requires wap site hosting or mobile website hosting. Then you will also need people with knowledge known as mobile website design or wap site design to get your mobile website up. These experts will be able to present your brand and your company the way you want it to look such as background color, text color, logos, graphics, icons, you name it and they can do it.

According to theinformationweek.com, the U.S. is now second only to the U.K. in terms of mobile Web use. Soon, India will likely to exceed the U.S. and may become the definitive market for the mobile Web.

So? What do you think? Should you go for it also?

Olympus Mju 790SW Water Test

Posted on October 5, 2007October 5, 2007 By sweet surrender 20 Comments on Olympus Mju 790SW Water Test

Hmm… The Paypal fund is not in yet after the Paypal fund withdrawal last weekend… still waiting…

YES! I got a new camera :p hahaha… As if you will believe me. Actually it belongs to my sis. She bought it at the price of RM1100 last month. The price advertised in the newspapers is RM1199. They only gave RM99 off but gave her many free gifts, a leather camera casing, a bag and xD card(I can’t remember how big is the capacity). It’s quite new and it’s 7.1Mp, 3x optical zoom, waterproof and shockproof. If you are expecting me to do a full review on this camera, you are wrong πŸ˜› I’m not the expert. I’m just posting this for fun and show you that it’s indeed waterproof hahaha… I forgot to copy the photos out from my sis’ camera to show you the photo taken in the water.

Left: The buttons.
Right: The external speaker and microphone appear to be just holes with nothing to shield it against the invading water. Hmm…

Left: On/Off button and shutter button.
Right: Hahaha… Nothing much, just the bottom.

Now the water test. We switch it on and off in there. Took some shoots, play back and flip it around. Also left it in side the water for couple minutes doing nothing πŸ˜› That’s all. Hahaha…

The camera in the water that was switched to preview mode.

DONE! Hahaha… We took it out from the water and switch it on and off to see whether any short circuit will happen or not and glad to say that it’s OK. Remember the hole that I mentioned? I still don’t understand why the water didn’t go in. Maybe it’s just the casing with fake holes just to indicate to your the microphone and speaker are there?

However, you have to bear in mind that even after you wipe the camera dry, it would still emit water. No idea from where. We just placed it on the table and the water just came out from nowhere as if it’s sweating LOL… So, if you don’t want to get your things wet, make sure you store your camera separately after using it underwater. You can bring it 3 meter underwater.

The verdict? It’s waterproof hahaha… No bluff!

What kind of review was that?!?!?! πŸ˜›

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
