My First Laser Tag Session

Posted on April 12, 2008April 18, 2008 By sweet surrender 16 Comments on My First Laser Tag Session

Made a last minute decision just now to join Anna and friends to play laser tag because there weren’t enough people, the more the merrier.

There’s only one place in Kuching to play laser tag. It’s located at Bangunan Ko-Perkasa, the shoplot behind KWSP at Simpang Tiga. I heard of it many times but never had the urge to play. Then the chance came today. Took the opportunity to try out.

It’s only RM4 and you can play for about 1 hour(depends… definitely more than half hour). It’s very affordable, great way to exercise also. We played two games, split into two groups to fight against each other. It took us about 1 hour as you need to rest in between each game and then reload your laser gun. Each game lasted for 15 minutes.

I’ve not been sweating and working out for so long. After the game session, my hand was numb as the gun was quite heavy. In addition with the squatting and running, my legs were so sore hahaha…

How to play? It’s basically same concept as paintball but it’s not as messy and painful as paintball because it only involved the vest with sensors and the laser gun, you cannot shoot anywhere you want, it won’t have any effect. It’s all about team building and strategies. It seemed like nothing, the room is small but when you are in it, it’s really SOMETHING! Don’t judge from what you see.

It’s really fun. I’m loving it! Let’s go next time, the more the merrier, maximum people for a session is 16 people. Anyone can play as long that you are more than 5 years old.

By the way, be sure to wear black or dark coloured clothings and shoes if you can, don’t ever go with bright colours as you will be easily seen by your opponents. Oh… You must do your booking first before you go to ensure that you get a place.

Got the contact!! Call 082-427867 πŸ™‚

Some CNY 2008 Group Photos

Posted on February 19, 2008February 27, 2008 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Some CNY 2008 Group Photos

Kept having disconnections lately!! What’s wrong with you Streamyx!!??! *Piss*

Here are two photos that was taken during the group visiting on CNY.

This was taken on the first day of CNY at the last house, Mikel’s(splashmilk.com) house. He’s the one in purple. Went there after Sushi King.

This was taken on Sunday, the 11th day of CNY(17.02.08). Lee wasn’t ready to end his CNY celebration this year just like that. In fact, it’s 15 days celebration for CNY but usually most people would not be in visiting mood after the fourth day. Since he was in Thailand for the first 6 days of CNY, he didn’t manage to celebrate it back home with us, he decided to organise a group visiting like we used to have in previous years hahaha… I didn’t organise it this year. One main reason is that he’s not in Kuching and Audrey wasn’t in Kuching too. The rest were plain lazy(no CNY mood) and one was missing in action -.-

We gathered at Lee’s house. That’s where I drank about a quarter glass of Heineken and immediately after few sips, my allergy started to attack again and it’s worst than the time I had Tiger but could stand it, no problem, just a bit more uncomfortable than the previous attack. πŸ˜› I still feel a bit itchy here and there now.

Forgot to take our group picture at Ann’s house since everyone was there. So we took it at Lee Ling’s house, that explains Ann and Jee are missing in the photo. πŸ˜›

Few more days to the 15th day, it would also be the Chinese Valentine’s Day. On this day, single girls will throw oranges into the river hoping that their princes would be picking up the orange, found each other and live happily every after. This was long long long long time ago in China hahaha… The fact is that, nowadays people would be collecting it and sell it again! πŸ˜› Hahaha…

Wonder what kind of activities Kuching Bloggers(points to the sidebar, see the round button) will have on that day? I guess I’ll just stay at home online, blogging. I’m kinda lazy to go out πŸ˜›

Mousey Year – Day 3

Posted on February 10, 2008February 10, 2008 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Mousey Year – Day 3

Day 3… I thought I would be spending my day at home, online… Then Allen told me that he wanted to go Belinda’s house. Therefore I followed him. At the end we didn’t manage to visit Belinda(my lecturer in college) because there were some unforeseen circumstances.

We went to Christopher’s house first, long time no see hahaha… Years already πŸ˜› Happened that Kuching is damn small that it’s like everybody is related to each other in some ways. Hehehe… Then we went to meet up with other friends of theirs. Some of them were craving for kolomee but where to find? It’s only CNY 3rd day, summore it’s not dinner time yet and lunch time was over. So sorry that a food blogger like me didn’t know where to get it hahaha…

Ended up at Expert Food Court, RH Plaza. Had some drinks there before going to Allen’s house for his open house. (Bloggers… Don’t throw me with stones or your shoes πŸ˜› It just happened that I’m there. Go find Allen for it hahaha…)

The drinks that they ordered, so many layer-layer drinks. Hahaha… I’m just wild guessing here…
(L-R) 4 layer cincao, 3 layer teh c peng, lime juice but looked more like lemon because it’s yellow and this is the mug of Expert Food Court, I didn’t know they have their own mug for hot drinks.

After that, they camwhored there until 6.30pm hahaha… I don’t have the photos because it’s not with me.

Allen’s mom cooked up a storm! Got deer meat, pork, boxing chicken, curry chicken, bee hoon and lamb. My frist time having deer meat and it tasted like… There’re some sort of odour to it just like lamb but I don’t mind hahah… I love meats!

After that, Allen sent me home. That’s all for day 3.

Mousey Year – Day 2

Posted on February 9, 2008November 23, 2008 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Mousey Year – Day 2

Day 2, we were supposed to visit many net friends but many of them weren’t at home because many went out for visiting. Jimmy came to visit me, then we went to Alysha’s house. Stayed there quite long, next we went to Ely’s house. After Ely’s house we went to Nien’s house.

Left: Someone said that I bully little baby!!! Hahaha… Man… She’s really heavy, I had difficulty carrying her -.-” Summore I’m so boney :P, definitely she’s not feeling comfortable when I carried her. See she cried -.-“

Middle: Went to Nien’s house and no one came to greet us, instead the dog came and greeted us. It didn’t bark! That’s a surprise because they said it would surely bark when it sees strangers, it has never seen us before summore. Hehehe… So nice… When we sat and eating the tid bits, it just sat quietly near our legs. You know it’s like the dog is yours, it would just sat quietly with you when you do things. However, when other people came, it kept barking, very fiercely. Hehehe… The dog loved us! πŸ˜› It’s not camera-shy too. Hehehe…

Right: We went to pick up Micching after that and went to Boulevard and had dinner there. Then we went to Alysha‘s house at around 9.30pm for the second time yesterday. Hahaha… Around 10.30pm, we called it a night. Before we left, group photo of course! :p That’s what bloggers do hehehe…

We had dinner at Ipoh Town Kopitiam because never been there before :P.

No pork served, self-service.

One corner of the wall and our order tags. 17+3=20 hehehe…

Left: Iced Blended White Coffee(RM5.00) and two sets of soft-boiled eggs(RM4.40). Micching thought that one set only had one egg but two… I ate the other plate.
Right: Jimmy ordered Loh Mee(RM5.50). He ordered hot Xi Mu Milk Tea(RM2.40), no photo :p Forgot to take hahaha… I ended up drinking his tea because…

Right: They got my order wrong! I ordered iced Xi Mu Milk Tea(RM2.60), they gave me Kopi O! Of course charge me Kopi O price too which is RM2. My fault also because I didn’t check when I pay, it was very noisy also because it’s located near the stage and there’s an event going on, we practically had to shout when ordering. Jimmy offered to drink my Kopi O and I drank his milk tea.
Left: Cheese & Ham Polo Bun(RM3.20), not nice -.-” So dry…

That’s all for day 2.

Mousey Year – Day 1

Posted on February 8, 2008February 13, 2008 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Mousey Year – Day 1

I thought that the 1st day of CNY this year I would rot at home hahaha… Then Allen said that he’s free in the afternoon when we chatted in MSN, so I suggested him to come over to my house and we visit Jimmy after that. After visiting we would go to watch movie but too bad Jimmy couldn’t follow because he’s having cough. Later at Jimmy’s house, we decided to go to Ann’s house then to Rose’s.

Spent quite sometimes at Ann’s. When we left, Jimmy called and said that he’s with Micching. They wanted to go to Rose’s house too. We met opposite Toyota showroom and we led the way. We camwhored a lot there. I kept moslesting Allen’s and JF’s DSLRs πŸ˜› We asked Rose to cook for us but she didn’t want to hahaha… At the end, we ended up at Sushi King, The Spring.

WAH! Had to queue!! Finally our turn. This is my first time dining at Sushi King, The Spring. 7 of us squeezed at one table.

We ordered the kaiten sushi because we couldn’t reach the conveyor belt hahaha… It’s only reacheable if you sit in the middle. They ordered, I ate.

We ordered all the cheap ones πŸ˜› instead of all the expensive ones πŸ˜›

See all the rice hahaha… 7 of us, we had lots of salmon, I found bone in there -.-” I didn’t epxect bone in there. Phew lucky I ate the salmon alone first instead of the whole sushi.

Guess what??!? The chef that we usually see at Sushi King, Boulevard Mall, was there too. Helping to serve, entertain the customers and clean up the tables. They seemed to be short of hands. There are some complaints that I heard about the outlet at The Spring that the service is not as good as Boulevard.

34 plates for 7 of us(Jimmy, Rose, Me, Micching, Paul, JF and Allen)! Not much really hahaha… We had to control… The total damage last night was RM128+

Group photo of course. After the late dinner, we went to Splashmilk’s house and called it a night.

My first CNY spending time with friend until 11pm+ πŸ˜›
