Free tomorrow night? Or Saturday night? Or both nights?

Ever wanted to party with the Queen of Pop Madonna herself, have a poker face showdown with Lady Gaga while challenging Amy Winehouse to a ‘Rehab’ sing-off to let her know that she actually REALLY needs it? Well here’s your chance!

All right! It’s not the real Madonna or Lady Gaga or Amy Winehouse, they definitely will not come to Kuching, I don’t think even in near future. However, this is probably the closest you would ever get to touch these three legendary music divas and get away with it.

Come and join me and my friends at The Borneo Funk Fest ‘10 (BFF ‘10) happening this weekend on the 2nd and 3rd of July. There will be a line up of tributes to few of pop music’s greatest acts direct from the United Kingdom! Held by the poolside of Grand Margherita.

There will also be performances by local and international DJs will also be featured throughout the weekend.

Dress code is any clubbing clothes that you will wear, I’m not so sure I want to dress up for the night or not ;p might go with just simple top, a pair of jeans and heels. Still thinking…

For the first time I’m late in updating an event ;p

Anyway, I got an invitation to cover Celcom X-Play Party at Paragon, Travillion, Kuching, on Friday night. I had an exam the next day and was struggling to complete my revision but decided to drop by the party to cover the event.

That explains this photo ;p Was given with VXP pass aka the VIP, I heard we were given with free flow of Heineken but yours truly don’t drink so the other VXPs got more to drink ;p You people better thank me for the extra drinks hahaha… I heard they were all quite drunk that night hahaha…

YO! It’s party time!!! The free flow Heineken. Bliss… Right? Right? Right?

I didn’t take many photos of the crowd and they all turned out bad, wrong camera setting. That night was a blast!

The two DJs performed which is DJ Monkey and DJ Funkzu. Hehehe… Don’t remember who is who. They were great!

Shawn Lee, the world no 9th BeatBoxer was there to perform but no photos to share.

Silas the MC, he was all purple that night. I almost couldn’t recognize him with such dressing.

That’s all about the party. I didn’t stay long because I had to go back to study.

Went to tHe Spring just now to stock up of some skincare products. Then saw KYAN!ME 2010 at North Court. I just realized it’s started already.

It will end this Sunday. For anime or cosplay fans, there will be various activities taking place. If you would like to find out more, do check out their Facebook page.

After the buffet(it’s ongoing the whole night), I went to the poolside bar, Liquid. My first time there. Those who went could get free flow of food and drinks including beer by just paying RM100. Very worth it right?

The main reason I was there was to collect the prizes that my friends and I had won that was organized by Wow Book. I had submitted the group photos of us for the contest. We won Loreal products worth RM800 and a photo shoot session with Alvin Leong.

See the products? We split them and guess what… I was not that lucky, we had our very own lucky draw to split the prizes. 8 of us splitting RM800 worth of products, you can imagine if you don’t use lucky draw. Everyone will fight over the HOT products hahaha… I got the products that I couldn’t use, all the aging range products, I gave to my mom. The only thing I could use was the eye shadow which was hidden in the photo. Not my luck. I wanted the bag and face masks(these were the HOT products ;p) but didn’t get them. Oh well… It’s OK… It’s just for fun, never thought we would win hahaha…
