Went to Happy Valley for lunch just now. It wasn’t planned, actually a last minute decision. Jimmy and I arrived late. We had a small bloggers gathering there, well… I would say it’s gathering with friends instead of bloggers gathering hehehe… Goodness! I was photographed by them while I was eating using their Canon DSLRs… I’m waiting for you guys to send me the photos!! Hehehe…

If you are wondering where is Happy Valley, it’s just opposite Crown Square.

Splashmilk is back in town but will go back later on. When I reached there, Rose, Paul, Gladiezz, Pazuzu and some other people that I don’t know were there too hahaha…

Let’s see what I ordered for my lunch:

Left: Ice lemon tea(RM1.80) and wheatgrass(RM2).
Right: Sweet & Sour Fried Fish Rice(RM4.00), so sour! Not nice!

Ok… What is this most photographed tortoise got to do with our gathering? Hehehe… “He” is Anna’s boyfriend! 😛

No More Tomato Kueh Tiaw!

Oh my… I’m sick. This time I’m really sick. My body is aching, my nose is stuffed, I kept sneezing and I feel heaty inside. Couldn’t finished my dinner and almost vomitted. I’m officially sick!

Yes! You got me right! No more tomato kueh tiaw at Cafe 2000, Pending. It’s no longer in operation since last week. This is one of the best tomato kueh tiaw, tomato mee and cha da(fried) bee hon in Kuching! No more… After years of eating them, I can safely said that it has more than 20 years of history and now it’s gone. I don’t think it will be back at all!

We were told that the owner of the stall had fleed. Fleed where? No idea… Heard that he owes the loan sharks a lot and they are now going after him! So? No more… I only eat the tomato mee and tomato kueh tiaw from here, I don’t order them at other places, they’re all not nice! I don’t think I’ll be eating any tomato mee or kueh tiaw anymore… Not that I always crave for them, I only eat when my parents bought them else I won’t be eating them.

I can’t remember and didn’t even bother to see the name of the shop. Doesn’t matter anyway as the food is nothing to be raved about *LOL* Since the old shop burnt down and now still not back to business yet, we simply find a place to have lunch. I also don’t have the slightest idea on the shop that we usually had our lunch.

Soup kolo mee and kolo bee hoon.

Fried chicken rice and fried kolo mee(hahaha… I asked them to use the yellow mee but out of stock so they said that they can use this fine mee that usually used for kolo mee for my fried noodle, so I said OK and it turned out like this LOL…)

Nothing much to say really 😛 The ice cream is really good but it doesn’t taste as good as it used too anymore. However, it’s still good compare to those you buy from the supermarket.

They have two flavours everyday. You’ll get vanilla everyday, each day will have a different flavour. They have chocolate, strawberry and pandan. Last time it’s only vanilla and strawberry and I don’t know since when they started to have chocolate then the latest is pandan. I still prefer vanilla, strawberry comes in second, chocolate third and no pandan for me please eww…

Pizza Hut 25th Anniversary Meal

After seeing so many money related posts hehehe… Let me “treat” you to Pizza Hut now 😛 Went for dinner at Pizza Hut last Sunday with my family. There were so many people that night but the service was FAST! Usually we waited for the pizza for at least half hour but that day, it was indeed fast, in less than 15 minutes and we got all our food out! WOW!

Instead of ordering the usual 2 regular pizzas, 4 bowls of mushroom soup, Breadstix, and a pitcher of Pepsi deal meal, this time we tried to order another set with the same price(RM40.90) which consists of 1 regular pizza, 4 bowls of mushroon soup, Breadstix, a picher of Pepsi, 2 regular Pasta Perfettos.

Breadstix and regular Super Supreme pizza. Nothing to rave about anyway hahaha…

Creamy Carbonara and Meatball Bolognaise. You can also opt for Prawn Olio or Seafood Arrabbiata. Just choose 2 out of 4 choices.

The Creamy Carbonara isn’t that creamy but I can’t stand it hehehe… Must make a mental note that Carbonara is too creamy for me, there is no way I can finish it alone. Hahaha… The Meatball Bolognaise… Nothing to rave about 😛 Hahaha… I can do it also.

By the way, you can enjoy free refill of Pepsi when you order any of their 25th anniversary meal.
