Couldn’t decide where to have lunch last Sunday and we ended up at Moly’s Place. It’s located just behind Habour View Hotel. Since we seldom blog about Malay food, so we decided to had our lunch there before catching a movie at Star Cineplex(will write about it when I’m freerer).

Each table is identified with flower’s name. We sat at the Rose table. Nothing much to rave about the food variety, they serve food like fried rice, fried noodle, fried kueh tiaw, mee jawa and so on. Just standard Malay food. The drink you see here is ice lemon tea(RM1.60).

Right: Mee Goreng Mamak(RM4), portion very little and quite spicy. Nothing special also.

Basically that’s about it.

Had snow ice at Star Cineplex last Sunday. Damn! I want to CURSE!!! It’s BAD!! Very bad! If you are the owner of this chain or related to them, please take note! It sucks!

On the wall, it stated “Simply Irresistable”, I’m sorry… It should be “Simply Resistable”!

I had snow ice from iGloo many times already and this is the worst! Luckily I didn’t pay full price for it instead I’m using the buy 1 free 1 coupon from My Privilege Book. I’m very disappointed with what they had given me at the “station” at Star Cineplex.

The texture sucks big time. It’s more like “paste” than snow ice. It’s not fluffy and cooling. Instead it’s yucky! Just like eating “ice paste”. I rather eat normal shave ice or ice cream than having this kind of “paste”. I really don’t know how to explain.

Here’s the texture it should look like or like this, not what I’m showing here. I know it’s not clear but you can see the presentation, I don’t mean the container, I mean the texture and how messy it is. It’s enough to turn you off! Imagine if people that had never tried this before and tried it for the first time at Star Cineplex, you will lose your customer for good, don’t forget the cineplex is always a place with lots of people, quality control is very important!

I know I’m very harsh in this post, what to do?!?! I’m in really foul mood! Damn it! Why do things always have to come in one go!??! Sigh… BUSY!!!

CRAP! I still can’t get use to the idea of friends getting married though it’s a norm at this age. ARG!

Hehehe… Jay requested for top 5 food and top 5 drinks so here you go 😛 I give you my top 10 food, not really top 10, it’s more like I give you whatever I came across when browsing my photo archive. No drinks because I’ll just give you the answer of plain waterX10 as my favourite drink hahaha…

So here you go… 10 of my favourite food in no particular order, pictures shown are for illustration purpose only:

Left: Sarawak Laksa for sure! Hahaha… However not kolomee, I don’t like. Where is the best Sarawak laksa? Hmm… Frankly I don’t really have any idea on where is the best, different people has different preference, I don’t really care as long that it suits my tastebuds, they are the best because some Sarawak Laksa are really really bad(if you know what I mean), tasted more like curry laksa or no-taste laksa.

Right: Japanese food! Now got addicted to sushi because of Sushi King *LOL*

Left: Sweet & spicy tapioca snack.

Right: Steak and continental food.

Left: Tao Kae Noi.

Right: Popiah.

Left: Korean food, especially the kimchi.

Right: Seaweed twist.

Left: Chong Qing Steamboat, it’s been a long time not dining there, not sure still there or not…

Right: Fried calamari. Used to have good one at Lau Dian(a cafe at Padungan) but I don’t know where to get good one anymore.

That’s all. I have more but better limit it to 10 hahaha…

First of all, I know I’m late in reporting about this, soon tHe Spring will start charging for parking. Now it’s still free but they want you to familiarize yourself with the new parking ticket system that is using auto pay machine. However, for the time being they set up a counter to validate the parking tickets, you can also opt to go for the machine because you must have it validate before going out else you won’t be able to open the “gate” hahaha… Be sure to leave within 15 minutes else it won’t be able to open the “gate” too.

Accompany somebody again to dinner, LOL… Actually it was me that want to go try out the ice dessert/puree as I saw something funny in my friend’s blog. Before that, let’s see what for dinner…

Chicken Brayani (RM6.50) at the Indian stall, it’s promotion price. Not sure how much is the original price though. Huge portion and not bad.

THIS! 😛 Hehehe… Currently having promotion also, it’s RM4.20, normal price is RM4.80. All the ice desserts/purees are the same price. I ordered Strawberry Cocktail Delight. You see the colourful “pearls”? See the photo on the right? Hehehe… This is how those “pearls” looked like. Does it look like… Use your imagination… Use your creativity *LOL*

By the way, the ice kacang is RM2.50 during the offer period. One more thing, I just found out no camera is allowed in the food court! Hahaha… Don’t care… No wonder I heard some people complaining about being stopped for taking photos in there.

WAH 888th post! Nice number!

Craving for Tao Kae Noi and went to buy but then I saw Hhun Film next to it which is cheaper by few cents, I decided to try this out.

Not as good as Tao Kae Noi. Tao Kae Noi has bigger pieces and lightly flavoured but Hhun Film got lots of small pieces and heavily flavoured. Don’t like, don’t like. I still prefer Tao Kae Noi 😛 Hehehe…

I’m craving for Tao Kae Noi now… Can someone buy it and send it over for me? I want the wasabi or original one. Thanks ;P
