CRAP! I still can’t get use to the idea of friends getting married though it’s a norm at this age. ARG!
Hehehe… Jay requested for top 5 food and top 5 drinks so here you go 😛 I give you my top 10 food, not really top 10, it’s more like I give you whatever I came across when browsing my photo archive. No drinks because I’ll just give you the answer of plain waterX10 as my favourite drink hahaha…
So here you go… 10 of my favourite food in no particular order, pictures shown are for illustration purpose only:
Left: Sarawak Laksa for sure! Hahaha… However not kolomee, I don’t like. Where is the best Sarawak laksa? Hmm… Frankly I don’t really have any idea on where is the best, different people has different preference, I don’t really care as long that it suits my tastebuds, they are the best because some Sarawak Laksa are really really bad(if you know what I mean), tasted more like curry laksa or no-taste laksa.
Right: Japanese food! Now got addicted to sushi because of Sushi King *LOL*
Left: Sweet & spicy tapioca snack.
Right: Steak and continental food.
Left: Tao Kae Noi.
Right: Popiah.
Left: Korean food, especially the kimchi.
Right: Seaweed twist.
Left: Chong Qing Steamboat, it’s been a long time not dining there, not sure still there or not…
Right: Fried calamari. Used to have good one at Lau Dian(a cafe at Padungan) but I don’t know where to get good one anymore.
That’s all. I have more but better limit it to 10 hahaha…
Chong Qing steamboat has moved. It’s no longer in Tabuan… now moved to RH Plaza. You know Hainanese Cafe? (or called something like that lah)
Well, it’s at a restaurant a few shoplots down. Er.. hope you know where it is from my very lame description. *LOL*
From all of the above, I would prefer Chong Qing Steamboat (which is an authentic Sichuan Spicy Hotpot) as well as Korean food (I love Kimchi!)
elvawenn, hehehe yeap.. I know… we dined there the last time with our gang, that time you didn’t manage to join us hehehe… We went to Tabuan there but it’s closed, we ended up at Mother’s Recipe, then planned to go for second round at RH and stumbled on it there 😛 Hehehe… Ended up we had supper there.
jam, the steamboat syiok!
I love S’wak Laksa, Sake, Tao Kae Noi and Seaweed Twist.. Hehehe…
ahlost, wah!! sake? “HOT”
ooooh! i love Tao Kae Noi!
slowcatchupkuan, long time no see! 😛 I long time no go over your place too LOL. YEAP! Yummy!
Thanks for the post 😛 All the food looks so good.
Its funny since I have been traveling to Malaysia 5 out of my top 10 foods in the entire world are now Malaysian dishes. Your country truly has very good food. As for which Laksa is the best? I am no expert of course, but I love the one from Golden Arch.
I love all the rest of the food on the list except the seaweed, I just can’t get used to the taste. Seaweed is ok in sushi but I can’t eat it plain/fried/by itself. (Maybe Malaysians would say I haven’t “learned” how to eat it yet?)
Jay
Jay, hehehe… Well… Seaweed is more towards Japanese food, many people don’t like it including my parents, my dad even try to skip anything with seaweed hehehe… So sushi with seaweed is out of question for him *LOL*
Heheh I think Sarawak Laksa would be top of the list for most Sarawakians. Including me! =P
And i cant believe ive never heard of Chong Qing steamboat. Must bug my parents to bring me there someday.
ember, really syiok I tell you 😛
what is Tao Kae Noi? Wow u actuali have more than 10 favorite foods? Hmm…U hv good appetite & big digest….lolz
Amei79, it’s a type od seaweed crisp. Crispy one, very addictive 😛 First bite, weird… Second bite, not so bad, then you just can’t stop anymore *LOL*
you have wierd taste but hey everybody have different taste. the important thing is that everybody enjoy their food. wonder why you dont like kolo mee ho???
I don’t like kolomee, don’t know why. I eat one or two mouth then can say full liao. I don’t know how to appreciate kolomee *LOL*
