Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion

Posted on February 23, 2009February 24, 2009 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion

I was introduced to Bencoolen products by one of the Ebayers last year. I thought it’s some imported products but after asking her some questions, I was told that it’s 100% Malaysian made. I mean, look at the packaging, it’s so “foreign” looking but it’s really 100% Malaysian made! She told me about the shower cream that contains no SLS that her mom introduced to her and she got hooked after using it.

Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion is meant for the hand and body. The tube is so small that I think you will run out of it in no time if you apply on your whole body. This small tube costs about RM20+ if not mistaken.

The smell of the product is delicious! I know it’s wrong to use this word but it smells like coconut cream that you can eat! Even the texture seems like something edible! Imagine the icing on the cake.

I tried it on my feet which is rather dry and the difference shows immediately. The surface of my feet with many fine wrinkles due to dryness actually diminished, it looked and feel so smooth. According to the website, it will restore skin moisture and maintain suppleness in all skin. Also helps in relieving itchiness and dryness resulting in a more youthful and healthy appearance.

It’s a bit oily in the beginning but after a while the oiliness will be gone and leave that faint sweet delicious smell behind.

It’s not available in many places though, only in some Jusco stores in West Malaysia. So those of you that got no access to these places, you can always get it online at their official website or from Ebay. Even though Ebay doesn’t have the whole range you can always contact her to get those products that you are interested or just go straight to the official website to buy. Just one problem, they only accept Paypal.

Not thinking of buying? Just go in and have a look. I’m sure you will be as surprise as I was that this is not some imported products.

Again, this is not paid. It’s a Christmas gift from her to me in Ebay Christmas gifts exchange program. Thanks Carol! It’s such great product! Rest assure that I will get something from Bencoolen one day since I’m not running out of anything for now.

It’s indeed oily(virgin coconut oil, what do you expect *LOL*) but the oiliness won’t be there for too long so don’t worry.

    Hi,

I think we’re on the same boat…I got hooked to Bencoolen products when it was first introduced to a couple of years ago at one of the cosmetic booths in Jusco AEON A2 KL…at first I was a bit hesitant but after the promoter convinced me about the benefits of VCO plus it didn’t contain SLS, I purchased a few of their products mainly skincare. My sister too was convinced to buy the haircare product esp. the strenghtening shampoo. After that first purchase I began to like the product so much that everytime I ran out of facial cleanser or shampoo I would definitely stop by at Jusco AU2 to buy some more. But after a while the BC booth@Jusco seemed to be left unattended and the products were not re-stocked anymore. I guess that the company is no longer selling its products via OTC. I just discovered today that they’re selling their products online and could be one of the reasons why they no longer focus their business OTC. Personally I still prefer they sell it OTC but because I like the product so much, I guess I have to switch gears now.

safiona lazarus, oh is it? I guess they concentrate on their online shopping. At least you don’t have to go out there to buy. You can just buy it from home and wait for them to send to you of course unless you want to try out some other products that you’ve not tried yet or the look and feel, an OTC would be great. Good that you found something you like πŸ˜‰
