I’m sure you’re seeing dates everywhere in the market now because it’s the fasting month. I’m not into dates. My sis bought this dates from Dubai. In fact, I just found out that they have a boutique here in Malaysia.
When I saw the box, I thought it’s chocolate from Dubai but it turned out to be dates. Very nice packaging. I don’t remember how much this box cost but it’s not cheap.
Gourmet dates, wow… Taste wise, hmm… It’s just dates to me hahaha… It’s an eye opener to me, my first time see such nice packaging for dates.
Dates with oats…yummy to me…fasting means dieting…hehe…but of course, post raya also need to diet what…hehe…
Noni, dates and oat is yummy indeed even though I never have it, usually I have plain oat. Hehehe… Raya eat too much, after that need diet ;p
Eventually I was in and out Dubai and Abu Dhabi many times last year. Get to try many types of dates and those gourmet dates are really yummy.
Patrick, so far I never tasted the dates in the market, this is my first time having it ;p So can’t really compare. In fact I have another box in the fridge, cheaper one also from Dubai but not yet open.
I love Bateel dates. They are the best available, because they do not add sugar to their dates to make them live longer, like other cheaper brands do, so that their dates are also healthy. Actually they claim to have the best dates in the world, and after eating their Kholas with caramelized pecan nut I believe them. 🙂
Dana, thanks for sharing 😉
