Meet Alex Wong – Part 4

Posted on December 20, 2007December 20, 2007 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Meet Alex Wong – Part 4

…Continue from part 3.

Manage to collect some photos but I won’t post them all because I looked horrible! Hahaha… So just post this up to end the post of meeting Alex Wong.

A bloggers’ meet without group photo is not complete. Here’s the group photo from Kenny. Kenny who?!?!? No need introduction one. This is the one and only group photo I have with Kenny in it(but can’t see his face hahaha…) even though I met him many times already. He’s always misssing in group photos because he’s always late for the group photo hahaha… Though meeting him so many times, I’ve never take any photo with him and never have a conversation with him, just hi or hi-bye. That’s all. I have nothing to say to him! *LOL* He has nothing to talk to me also. To me, he’s always sitting there most of the time very quiet until you approach him and start a conversation with him. I’m not the one that can kick start a conversation unless I know you very well or you start first. So… When two persons like this meet, I don’t think you can have any conversation at all *LOL*

Ok… Enough of Kenny. This post is about me meeting Alex not meeting Kenny *LOL*

These are from Edwin.
Left: See! We are the press! That camera!! Bigger than my face! “My” DSLR 😛 Hahaha… Funny right?
Right: Concentrating on what Alex was saying.

These are from Alex‘s camera.
Left: Gift exchange.
Right: Group photo, candid shoot. Not sure who took it using Alex’s camera.

Lastly, here’s the video of Alex and Aimi performing One Day without the complete band for the first time! It’s only about half of the song, I didn’t record the whole thing, not enough memeory space 😛

Have no time to compile photos for part 4 of meeting with Alex of STM and my story. Will do so soon.

I’m going to AMBP Gathering: Coffee Therapy for Bloggers! Hahaha… I’ll be there! However will only stay until noon. I fly all the way from Kuching to attend the meet at KL 😛 Joking… Hahaha… Just happen to be there.

As you can see… Mission 1 failed! BOHOOO~ My mom killed it! Hahaha…

So I started with the second one… Here’s the update.

It’s much taller now but the the “shell” hasn’t shed yet. Hmm… Will it die halfway again? Hahaha…

So busy~ 🙁

Food Avenue

Posted on December 18, 2007December 17, 2007 By sweet surrender 5 Comments on Food Avenue

This is one of the latest eatery in Kuching. It was launched on 2nd December 2007. My parents went there that day and didn’t have very good impression on it because their food were taken away before they could finish it! It just happened that my parents and my bro wanted to switch their food among each other to taste but before they were in time to taste it(only looked away for a while), the food were taken away by the waitress! -.-” Lesson of the story, be sure to keep your food close to you, don’t put it too far from you especially when your food is almost finish and pay attention to your food hahaha… Your drinks too.

My mom lazy to cook lunch last Sunday. My dad suggested to go there as I’ve never been there. Many people still wondering where this is located. Actually it’s just behind Igloo at 4th Mile or just next to Everrise at 4th Mile. There’s a projector there, it’s good when there’s football match, the place will surely be packed!

There are about 20 stalls. You can get Singapore Mee Siam there, Penang yam rice there and various local delicacies but many were closed when we were there about 2pm for lunch, some not open until next year. Pinoy Ihaw-Ihaw(The Philippino restaurant at Padungan) is opening a stall there too.

Left: HEY! WiFi available! Don’t know how true is that hahaha… I don’t have anything with me to test 😛
Right: The drinks are blardy expensive! These two glasses, iced soya bean and lime juice already cost RM3.10.

Pork rice sets. Two types here(BBQ and crispy). The rice was dry and cold -.- The pork(3 layer meat) was ok when it’s hot. RM4.50 per plate. Portion very small. Not worth.

Left: Sister Crispy Popiah(RM5) is there also.
Right: Ah Suan Chicken Rice also there. Here’s its pork rice. The curry was so watery and sweet -.-

I don’t really like this place. I thought it was a very big place… DUH~ So small… Summore they have this retracting roof or something, what for?!?!? Night time open it up to eat bird shit? I don’t see the need of it -.- Too much money to spend I guess.

Boulevard In Time To Open?

Posted on December 17, 2007March 7, 2008 By sweet surrender 11 Comments on Boulevard In Time To Open?

Apparently my camera’s button isn’t really fixed. Two buttons have problem now. Sometimes it could fix itself. Weird. As long that the lense is OK then it can still be used. Worst comes to the worst, I can’t delete photos, can’t zoom out and change my shooting mode(single shoot, continuos shoot, timer etc.) and navigate to the left or down. Can anyone repair it free for me or just charge me your service and parts? 😛 I don’t want to spend RM50 at Canon just to get it inspected and get quote on how much to repair 🙁

Took these photos yesterday noon. Boulevard is scheduled to open on 19th December 2007 but what do you think after seeing these photos? Do you think it will be in time to open on the 19th?

Our very first hypermart in Kuching. Where is it situated? It’s situated just opposite of 4th Mile Everrise.

According to my source, they might postpone the opening to this Saturday, 22nd December 2007 because they can’t seem to get it done in time. I guess it’s the rain lately that has delay the completion. They have been working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get it done.

We’ll see by then. I will definitely be there to take some photos to update hahaha… 😛

Oh! There will be Christmas Carolling Parade by Kuching churches for the first time in Kuching on 22nd Decemeber 2007, there are already 3500 people confirmed joining. Don’t expect something like what you see in those temples parades with skimpily clad girls and so on. All you’ll be seeing are participants in white tops and dark colour pants/long/below knee length skirts. You’ll be entertained by live bands from various churches in Kuching and Christmas Carols. Candles and balloons can be seen on that day also. They will start at 6.30pm at Travillion MBKS Jubilee Gorund. I’ll be there to cover the event instead of being part of the parade :p

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
