Beamish Open Air Museum

Posted on October 14, 2024October 7, 2024 By sweet surrender No Comments on Beamish Open Air Museum

This year’s UK trip, we managed to visit Beamish Open Air Musuem, a museum located in Durham county. It is not your typical museum. It’s a living museum. A great place for the young and old to visit. A lot to learn and experience there.

One day is certainly not enough. It took 2 days to cover the whole museum. However, if you really want to scrutinize everything there, you’ll need more days. Good thing is that the entrance fee is valid for a year. You can go as many time as you want. So, if you’re local, it will be worth it.

Since we’re there during the summer, it’s not that cold in there. However, from the car park to the entrance, it’s quite windy and cold! Now, it’s already autumn. If you’re not from the UK or any four-season countries, you’ll need to keep warm. The place is in the countryside.

I didn’t take many photos and videos as planned. I was too distracted and overwhelmed. There were too many people around too. Even those photos or video that I manage to take, they all turned out ugly. hence, there isn’t many photos or video that I could share. Oh well…

However, I’m glad that I get to visit this award-winning museum. It’s really an eye-opener. Personally, I felt that it’s not quite possible for us here to do such scale of tourist attraction in Sarawak. We’re not there yet. What do you think?

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
