Lots of places in one post ;p My Penang trip post will come to an end soon. It’s time to see the famous Penang Bridge. Our friend brought us to somewhere in Bayan Lepas where there’s a jetty that is specially built only to transport people to the resort which located on an island(in the photo).
Me and the bridge. I don’t look good in the picture ;p That’s the problem when you didn’t get enough sleep hahaha…
After that, we went to Queensbay Mall. WAH! I didn’t know there’s Forever 21 there! Hehehe… Actually I’m not a fan of Forever 21, just that I heard many people raving about it.
Some views of the mall. Many shops not opened yet.
This is where you can roller blade and also there’s playground for the children.
Next, we went to have our dinner at T.Bowl, a concept restaurant. It was so packed that we had to wait to be seated. Very special!
You will be sitting on the toilet bowl, dining on a sink or bathtub and eating from toilet bowls or bathtubs too hehehe…
Our drinks: Mocha Blended(or Cappucino, not sure and don’t remember the price too), Blue Curacao Bubble + Vanilla Ice Cream Mocktail(RM5.50), and Limon.Sourplum Mocktail(RM5.50).
This dish is Beef Chop Rice(RM12.90), this is served in a big bowl and this soup is called Tomyam Seafood Flaming Pot(RM12.90) served in toilet bowl.
You wanna eat poo poo?!?! There you go! Hehehe… It tasted very nice actually. This is their signature dish called Signature Giant Sausage(RM12.90). The English name wasn’t that yucky but the Chinese name was really yucky ;p It sounde like “poo in intestine”. Even the look does look like one.
Fish Fillet Baked Rice (RM13.90). It’s under the Toilet Bowl Cheese Baked Rice category. Then the bathtub is mushroom soup, it’s tasted very “chinesey”.
Signature Chicken Baked Rice in Twin Sauce(RM13.90).
Anyway, you can find out more at their website: http://www.t-bowl.com
After dinner, we walked around the mall and played some arcade games at the children arcade game section in Jusco departmental store.
Before we went to get the car from our friend’s house, our friend brought us to ride the ferry! ;p Hehehe… We drove over the Penang Bridge first then after that went to wait for the ferry ride to go back to the island. We waited at the ferry waiting point for almost 45 mintues if not mistaken.
On the ferry. The moon was so round and bright. For the first time, I see so many jellyfish in the sea.
Basically, that’s the end of my fourth day in Penang. I haven’t edit the photos for the fifth day ;p
When I read this.. I’m goin.. “Must go to Penang!!! Must go to Penang!!!!”
cdason, hehehe… Gogogo…
Gee…Have not been there for quite some time.Anyway, that place is fantastic. No surprise that one day, it will become the next Singapore.
Willie, indeed, the similarity of this island with Singapore is the high rise buildings, when I was there, for a while I thought I was in Singapore but what makes it different is how the people drive there, the cleanliness is way different from Singapore ;p
that island resort used to be a place where they exile / quaratine ppl with infectious disease, many decades ago… can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s right opposite the company where i used to do my internship… back when Queensbay mall was still an abandoned mall project…
cal, is it?!?!? Hehehe… Pretty spooky place eh ;p I mean the island.
spooky past.. but i’m sure it looks all pretty & nice now… finally recall… i think it’s called Pulau Jerejak …
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerejak
Cal, so this is the famous Pulau Jerajak. Hahaha… I didn’t know until now, how ignorance can I be ;p
