Farewell Dinner @ Top Spot

Posted on January 5, 2010January 13, 2010 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Farewell Dinner @ Top Spot

By the time you read this, I will be in Genting already. I’ll do live update via Twitter if I have the mood and time ;p

Amiey is now in Selangor continuing her studies. We had a dinner with her at Top Spot few days before she left. All the best and take care girl!

Left: The food Cyril ordered were from ABC Seafood. He paid for our dinner for that night. Thanks! 😉 We had a great night, it was quite a funny night, we laughed so much because someone was supposed to be on detox program actually got all the toxin in his brain ;p. We really wonder whether the detox worked or not *LOL*

Right: Bamboo clam cooked with curry. You can only get this clam during its season, you can’t get it all year round.

Left: Mixed vegetable with cashew nuts and prawns.

Right: Buttered prawn, quite nice. I like it.

Left: I don’t quite remember what this dish was. Should be sea cucumber soup. Not so bad too.

Right: O Jien, a bit hard to eat as they didn’t cut it into pieces.

Left: Lemon fried chicken.

Right: Midin cooked with belacan(I think…)

Overall, The food was good. We had lots of food, at least can feed 10 people but there were only 7 of us. The table was a bit too small to fit in all the food too. We couldn’t finish the food.

No group photo to share though coz they’re not in my camera.

After the dinner, we all got stuck at the parking place which was pretty frustrating. When I got back home, my Twitter was full with complains *LOL* Some of them tweeted while in the jam, it was quite funny in a way.

Thanks again for the wonderful dinner.

Win a Pair of Gingerbread Men Contest Winner’s Entry (8)

Posted on January 4, 2010January 3, 2010 By sweet surrender No Comments on Win a Pair of Gingerbread Men Contest Winner’s Entry (8)

Preparing for KL trip tomorrow morning. Will be away from 5th to 8th January. You will see auto-publish posts starting tomorrow. 😉 Wonder should I conduct a contest while I’m away? Hehehe…

As promised, I’m going to feature the winning entries of Win a Pair of Gingerbread Men Contest that I conducted.

This one is by John. I’m pretty sure you enjoyed your Christmas. Thanks for participating.

Christmas is a very special time of the year. I would be sitting down at the dining table surrounded by my loved ones and my close friends. There would be aromatic smell of freshly cooked food, desserts and Christmas pudding on the table and every dishes that are placed on the table would draw the ooooo aaahhh from every single person gathered. I love to see the smile on their faces and the ringing laughter of joy as jokes and funny tales are told over the table.

The Christmas tree standing tall and majestic with the colorful lights winking at us from the living room and the soft Christmas songs playing in the background makes the whole atmosphere pure bliss. The decorated and colorful mystery boxes placed underneath the tree makes everybody excited as they wonder about the contents of it. This is the time of the year where all gather to hug each other, wishes each other well, forgive all the wrong doings done all throughout the year, make peace with each other and exchange gifts and blessings and this is what I do every year.

The Magic of Christmas touches the heart of every person all around the world.

Christmas Eve Dinner @ ABC Food Centre

Posted on January 2, 2010January 2, 2010 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Christmas Eve Dinner @ ABC Food Centre

Our Christmas eve’s dinner was a last minute one. Being lazy and all, we simply headed out to somewhere near for dinner. Nothing fancy.

We went to ABC Food Centre, it’s located at Padungan, behind Public Bank and Eon Bank.

Every table were having a feast but we didn’t ;p We only ordered 3 things. Tomato noodle, kailan cooked with oyster sauce, and O jien. I forgot to take photo of the O jien, we waited for almost 1 hour for it -.-” Wanted to cancel it but when my dad went over, they were in the process of serving it already.

That’s all we had. Overall, the dinner cost below RM35 inclusive of two glasses of drinks.

Happy 2010

Posted on January 1, 2010January 1, 2010 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Happy 2010

It’s a new year now! I started off the year by meeting up with some ex-schoolmates for lunch. Now back at home facing the computer, home alone. ;p No plan to do anything. Spend time playing games and online. I have many games pending and many magazines pending to read. Hehehe…

Resolutions anyone? I don’t have any. I don’t think I have any, just random ones which changes over the time. Just hoping this year will be a better year and hoping that some issues can be resolved. I really can’t take my mind off you sigh…

Last year was quite sucky most of the time. Nevertheless, due to those sucky experiences, I learned many new things and rediscover myself.

In few more days, I’ll be going to KL for a short holiday with my parents. Supposed to be a family trip but my bro has to report himself for the national service this Sunday so he won’t be going with us. I’m trying to plan the trip and it’s not easy. I’m not familiar with KL public transport unlike Singapore. Usually when I was there, there were people that will drive me around but not this time. So we’re on our own and I’m going to play tourist guide *LOL* Tourist guide that knows nothing ;p

Going there to shop I guess… Nothing much. Since the plan is visiting most of the major shopping malls ;p Won’t be shopping much too, just some clothes for CNY I guess. *SHRUG* At least, I won’t be spending much this trip as my parent are paying for it ;p

Lastly, wishing all of you a happy 2010 and may you have a great year ahead!

Why do you want to dig that far?
