Year: 2007

3 Years Passed…

Posted on December 26, 2007December 27, 2007 By sweet surrender 9 Comments on 3 Years Passed…

I still can’t complete my love story. So sorry… So busy, I have so many things to settle before I go on a 6-day holiday in Genting & KL next year.

3 years, time flies, life still goes on, memories linger on. Say long, it’s not long; say short, it’s not short. I did not have the chance to pay you the last respect. I hope one day I have the chance *SHRUG*. It’s not that I’m still holding on to you, it’s just an act of respect to thank you for all that you’ve done. You taught me how to be a better person in life. I’m glad that I’d met you though it’s short, the impact is great. Memories are fading now. Everything happens for a reason. I’m sure there’s something better waiting for me.

To someone… I know you will be reading this, maybe not today but coming weeks or days. You know who you are. You are who you are to me, I won’t put you under his shadow. As usual… Miss you πŸ˜‰

The Story Of Christmas

Posted on December 25, 2007December 26, 2007 By sweet surrender 13 Comments on The Story Of Christmas

Merry Christmas again everybody!

Went to church for the Christmas morning service just now. It was a wet Christmas morning, it’s drizzling. Just want to share some Christmas spirits with you.

Leading the singing of Christmas and gospel songs.(view video1, video2)

Church choir.(view video1, video2)

They performed a Christmas sketch. Picture tells a thousand word, I don’t need to say much. You just see the photos, they tell you everything. πŸ˜› Hahaha…

Enjoy your holiday!

Christmas Parade 2007

Posted on December 25, 2007December 26, 2007 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Christmas Parade 2007

I got the best Christmas present yesterday. Thanks dear. Miss you! πŸ˜‰

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

This is the post about the Christmas Parade last Saturday. We were late, it started early also *LOL* When we reached, we only managed to see the last two floats and the last few contingents. After the last one at Padungan, we went to Ban Hock Road to wait for them to pass by as we missed the front part hahaha… It was drizzling but not to the extend that could make you wet. These are all the photos taken, many photos turned out bad because my camera is not good for shooting night shoots. Enjoy your Christmas!

The parade is short, only about 1 hour 30 minutes. Not many floats but the main aim is carolling, not a show like those temple parades. Basically it’s a mass carolling session. This is the first time in more than 100 years ever since Christianity reached Kuching.

Anyway, enjoy your holiday! May God bless you!

Boulevard Opening

Posted on December 24, 2007December 31, 2007 By sweet surrender 11 Comments on Boulevard Opening

Finally it’s opened! However, not really completed -.- Almost the whole of Kuching was there last Saturday. It was so jam! The jam was so long! We parked at 3rd Exchange and walked there. People were still in the car and we already reached. *LOL* Walking is faster than driving a car in this case πŸ˜›

I went there again yesterday with my family. The jam wasn’t that bad at about 5pm+

Left: Everyone’s going into the parking bay. Long queue!!!
Right: Signboard is up but it’s not quite right… Where is the Chinese name? Hahaha…

The inside…

Left: Guardian and Kenny Rogers. It was packed at Kenny Rogers, so many people, you have to queue to go in -.- What to do? The only eatery open. There will be Sushi King, KFC, Pizza Hut, RasaMas and few more I guess…
Right: Bread house! Yum~Yum~

Left: More view.
Right: The washroom! πŸ˜› The first place we went hahaha… Once we reached there, we were looking for washroom.

Left: Momoe, I saw some nice comfy sandals there but don’t know the price.
Right: Sinma, selling accessories.

Promotional booths and view of the escalators.

WAKAKA!! Funny… Poor them… Imagine how if they want to pee? πŸ˜› So tired… They have to stand there like a statue.

Left: If you buy more than RM20, you can get your caricature drawn for free.
Right: *LOL* We went hunting for all these mascots. This is KokoCrunch. There’s Chipsmore(we were stopped from taking photo from it because you must make certain purchase to have the chance to take photo with it, if not mistaken), there’s also Yoco and Milo. We camwhored a lot that day in the toilet, in the toy, children and man department and more *LOL* Waiting for photos from Jimmy’s and Allen’s camera(this guy was so kiasu, he brought two DSLRs with him! *LOL*).

JAM!!! Taken from 3rd Exchange. Boulevard is on the left, hidden behind all those trees hehehe…

It’s not fully open yet, so many constructions going on. I guess we will have to wait till next year.

Blessed Church Chirstmas Night 2007

Posted on December 23, 2007December 25, 2007 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on Blessed Church Chirstmas Night 2007

On Friday night, we after we went to the opening of Lounge2 where we killed two birds with one stone(had our dinner there :P), we went straight to the Association of Churches hall to attend the Blessed Church Christmas Night 2007, invited by Rambo.

So many people! -.- We were late and had to sit at the corner. The spaces that were reserved for us were taken by other people. Oh well… Who ask we came late? However, later we managed to find some places in front.

Left: The MCs of the night. It’s conducted in English and Mandarin.
Right: The pastor and the church members on stage singing Christmas songs and gospel songs.

Left: Hip hop dance. Who says it’s bad? Things are not bad until human tarnishs it.
Right: Choir formed by the church’s adults. The line was so long! So many of them.

Left: The pastor conducting the choir.
Right: Testimonial shared by one of the church members about how God saved her son’s life from JE. They thought he would die but he didn’t. They thought that if he would live, he’ll be mentally and physically retarted but he didn’t. He’s now an active, young little boy, just like any other children. She shared in Mandarin and the pastor translated it to English.

Left: Sketch about how Jesus cure the blind, the cripple and the one with leprosy.
Right: Esther shared her experience about going to heaven and hell. She shared in Mandarin but sometimes shared in English, the pastor translated it for her. It was very long but interesting. I know some people started to get impatient and whine about it because their mind is somewhere else, only the body was there. Not everyone can go to heaven or hell unless you’re dead which means you can’t come back to tell the tale. Only the gifted ones like Esther went and came back when she’s 12 years old. It’s not a story made up by a 12 years old that never read the bible and attended a church service before. Everything she experienced were in the bible. She’s 21 years old now and is studying in New Zealand and one of the students that achieve the Golden Key.

After that, the pastor announced that whoever that want to accept God that night, they could go to the front to pray together.

Lastly, the lucky draw session. We didn’t win anything hahaha… The hampers were quite big πŸ˜› Anyway, that’s the end of it.

p/s: I didn’t put many photos up because it’s hard to take proper pictures with the “crazy” camera buttons.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
