Saw MAS Golden Holiday package!!! MAS is having offer now!! Package to Perth is SOooO…cheap! BUT… It’s only for twin-sharing! GRRRRRRRRR… Make me even more angry. Air Asia have their holiday packages too and it’s on twin-sharing basis too! Sucks la!!!
Why all these travel packages only valid for 2 or more people travelling together? π Hate it! Hate it! Why can’t it be one? Why must be on twin-sharing basis?!?! Darn! So unfair! I know lar… It’s all because of quantity else they won’t be able to offer such affordable packages. If you plan to go alone, you have to pay two persons price. *ANGRY* It’s not easy to find a travel companion don’t even say find another 3 persons for a trip!
It’s so unfair for people that wants to travel alone and would like to take up those yummy offers. If you insist of going alone, then you have to pay for 2 persons’ fee to enjoy the package. π As if being single or travelling alone is a crime that people don’t want to recognise your singlehood. SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!
You might even said that, following the tour groups or whatever is no fun, better venture the place yourself. I do agree! I hate following tour groups. Besides, they are on twin-sharing basis too. However, even prices for Free & Easy packages only valid for twin-sharing. *CUSS* It’s so hard to find a suitable travel companion ok?!?!? If found the wrong one, your holiday will be ruin to the max. Of course, I cannot find a male companion unless we are NOT require to share a room. Or… Well.. Some might say, “plan your own travel then”. It’s not for everyone OK?!?!? At leats not for me! I’m not the lucky bunch that get to travel once or twice a year, I only have the chance only-God-knows-when. Besides, all my travels before(KL in 2006, S’pore in 2003 and Sibu almost 10 years ago) were pre-arranged and I didn’t require to do anything except tagged myself along.
My whole life… The furthest I’ve been to is KL. Pathetic huh? So… I need to start somewhere like signing up packages as a start to gain some experiences. When I’m more experienced, then I can go and plan my own holiday! Don’t know how to crawl already want to run meh? The main point is that all the packages need you to bring someone along!!!
*Sigh*… What to do? That’s how the world works, those who are singles usually will not have the privilege. I must… I must… I must… Find a boyfriend who is rich enough to bring me travel to anywhere in this world! NUH…. I don’t think my parents will even allow me to go travel with my boyfriend unless he’s my husband. That way, not only that I’ll have a travel companion but also a husband. Kill two birds with one stone! How nice! CRAP! Ignore that part.

Hahahha… Only for twin sharing for the Golden Holiday package. Sigh… If only I can find some friends but sadly… None. How I wish the direct flight from kch-perth is still active π Sucks right?
crispy, NO!!! My nightmare! I dare not to bring her along. She can’t keep up and she knows that. Don’t ask me to travel with parents lar. So potong stim. My father always said to us that if we want to go travel, earn our own money, then we can go. We have never travel(as in flying to somewhere) as a family, we don’t have such money allocate for it, there isn’t enough, travelling as a family really needs a lot of money. Even my parents went travelling one time only. That’s to S’pore to attend my cousin’s ROM and my mom couldn’t stand doing the tourist stuffs such as walking long distant, taking public transport, visiting several places in a day.
Airasia now got offer from midnight onwards. Can try places like phuket, bali… just to get the experience you mentioned. Very cheap and you don’t have to have partner too. Just be careful because you’re on your own.
As for stay, give homestay a try.
Oh, I saw you mentioned the Airasia now. Haha… didn’t read that part. But, I didn’t see the package and the twin sharing part leh… thing is, you don’t have to take the package. Book your own stay. That way you don’t have to follow the partner term.

Lux, the thing is if booking your own stay will be much much more expensive not only that you have to fork out another extra cost for airport transfer. It will add more to the cost. Besides, this is already consider as “planning your own holiday” hahaha… I’ve checked Air Asia already, same thing, it’s all twin sharing. The fine print is not only fine but “light” π

Go with swk photo-art society leh… I know they always fly. In backpacking style oh, no fancy fancy hotel to stay one. If not mistaken, they are planing to go India, don’t know when. End of CNY they will go to Indonesia, China always the place for them and last year there are trip to Korea. Some went to S’pore, KK and Taiwan.
I never joint them, no budget and still no job. π

Not really. There’s a single room one leh. I know they have dorm style, which doesn’t suit you because you’ll be sharing with other strangers from other countries… and there are rooms with either double bed or single bed.

Lux, The problem is that, like you said, when travelling alone, have to be extra careful. I’m travelling alone, safety is my main concern. It’s better to get a package rather than looking around for accomodations that you don’t know where you will ended up in. With the package, you get accomodation(usually 3-5 star hotel), airport transfer, air tickets are all included. There is no way to get fare as cheap as this without a package.
When you just book cheap tickets and then arrange your own accomodation again, that’s already consider “planning your own holiday”. Summore, I can guarantee my parents will not allow me to go without signing up any package if I’m going alone. I dare not to also. -_-”
