Gosh! Just finished my exam about 2 hours ago. It was the craziest exam I had ever had in my study life.
It’s a 2 1/2 hour exam, there’s so much to write. From what I heard, usually for postgrad exam, there’ll be 3 hours minimum but this subject doesn’t. Luckily I applied for time extension, a benefit international student can have, we’ll get extra time in exam. It was extra 25 minutes. At first I didn’t bother about asking for extension but since it’s a privilege to have, why not? It won’t cost me a thing, there’s nothing to loss. Good that I made this decision. So I had extra time on top of the 2 1/2 hours else definitely couldn’t finish answering.
The exam should be an easy one compare to the one coming Wednesday but I threw 10 marks away for one of the questions because I couldn’t make sense of what the question was asking. ARG! So I just crapped ;p
Was writing like crazy, non-stop. Didn’t have time to check my writing, hope I didn’t make serious language mistakes until the lecturer has difficulty understanding what I’m trying to convey. It’s not Malaysia, bad English can be forgiven for exam but not here for sure. Really salute those who managed to leave early. Either they didn’t know how to do or they could write so fast. Never in my life writing so fast. If it’s 3 hours(with extra 25 minutues for international student, that makes 3 hours and 25 minutes! That would make whole lot of difference), then at least won’t be that bad but I would still throw the 10 marks away. At least I could write nicely for other questions. It’s all because of Part B & C which were very BIG questions with HUGE mark allocation. Fricking 80 marks!
Kind of relief when I found out that there were many people who didn’t manage to finish answering the questions. At least I finished them. Who knows due to that, there’s some moderations to it by then and might able to increase my grade a bit hehehe…
That’s all for now. Will update again. Hungry…
I believe that you are doing great. Wetting my pant when I dreamed my previous exam. I had 10 subjects per semester which means 10 exams.
william, oh well.. we’ll just see what the result will be. I can’t take up too many subjects because it’s a very short study period, I have no semester break nor exam break. Two subjects per study period is not that easy for me as I never study full time after my diploma. It’s a whole new experience. So it’s very different and besides, that’s the given study plan, 2 subjects per study period. It’s full swing until this year end, even so I’ll only have only a month holiday and January 2012 will start class again.
