The weather is sooooo good today! It’s the UniSA Open Day 2011, happening at City West campus. I had signed up to be a volunteer for this event. In the morning I volunteered for the uni and in the afternoon I volunteered for Unilife. Both were great! It was fun. In case you’ve been wondering where on earth I am studying now in Adelaide, this is it! 😉
Left: A photo of me before heading out there. I was given the task to provide direction to visitors. I really enjoyed it. I wish I could help until the end of the event but I had signed up for the other volunteer task in the afternoon with Unilife (a change of t-shirt from blue to yellow and just realized that I didn’t take a photo of me in it ;p).
Right: The welcome booth, I was around this area. Since this was where most people came in and started to locate their destinations, I was practically running around from one person/group to another to help them with the direction. Only one directional staff available at each location. Time flies so fast and it was the end of my shift in the morning.
The following is all the photos I had taken after the end of my shift before starting another shift.
Booths around city west campus.
This is the most interesting booth ;p I saw students from civil aviation and their instructors having coffee break around the area I was working. GOSH! They’re all so handsome and pretty!
Visitors even got to experience flight simulator. Too bad I didn’t get the chance to try it out.
There’s fun activities going on too. I missed the red bull girls!! I thought I would be able to get a can today but I was in the toilet when they were at our booth! Too bad…
It’s a very fun and fulfilling day! This is my first and my last, won’t be here anymore next year to assist in this event unless I continue to do few more subjects to get a master (now, I’m doing graduate diploma, people would go… huh? Let’s put this this way, you can consider it as pre-master, add on 4 more subjects and you’ll get a master degree) hehehe… We’ll see…
