Enough of the UK food haha… I will stop for the time being and give you our own Malaysian food.
My parents bought this back last Saturday from Tok Janggut. It’s located at Chong Lin Park. It’s easy to locate with the big green signboard.
Left: Tok Janggut Rojak(RM4). Hmmm… It felt like eating mee jawa without the mee and the spiciness.
Right: I think this is Nasi Kandar with mutton(RM7). It’s so small in portion and RM7 is a bit too much. Summore, I don’t like it. I don’t think it’s nice at all. The meat was so little too. Not worth it!
I don’t think the food there is nice at all. I know many people recommended that place but not me. Ah well.. It’s just not my type.
Tok Janggut food is a bit expensive.
Maybe you can try Daun Kari at .. aiya, donno what the road name is. As you come down from 4.5 mile, there’s this 2nd hand car seller just opposite Arang Rd. Right after that, there is a turn on the right. Daun Kari is just on the left. Food not bad. Even got Lamb Shank Briyani for around RM9. Roti Canai oso not bad. Light and slightly crispy.
Ok 😛 Hehehe… Will try to hunt for it when I got money to eat out again hahaha…
u shud eat nasi beriyani over there, not nasi kandar. from my experience, nasi kandar at kuching is not up to standard. just my 2 cents.
it’s the same as u go to kfc but u just eat fries, or coleslaw, then u comment “kfc not nice.. food not nice.. so-so onli”.. got what i mean?
next time, kumpul duit, then go n try their SPECIALTIES, not the normalities.
TQ
KDT, thanks for sharing.
