All right! I know you people are waiting for the Breeze Party post but I’m not going to upload it today because I’m not really in the mood to edit and filter so many failed photos with my current condition, itchy nose and non-stop sneezing due to my sensitive nose that cannot tolerate smoke filled place. My longest record of sneezing frenzy was one week. I hope for this it won’t be that bad but kinda doubt it because I was in the place longer than previously. ARG!
Oh! Please send me photos with me from your camera if you have, I don’t have any photo with me in my camera. Thanks in advance.
It took me about 1 hour to straighten my own hair yesterday. It’s not easy to do it myself and with no clips at all to section my hair. So I tied my hair into sections with rubber bands. If not mistaken, I split my hair into 10 sections.
With the help of straightening iron my sis brought back last year and Sunsilk Straight & Sleek Anti-frizz Lotion, I started the whole process.
Well… It’s not easy. It’s not chopstick straight. Later towards the day, some curves showed up, at least it’s not curly as my normal hair. Even if I did the temporary iron straightening in the salon, it won’t stay chopstick straight but at least without the slight waves at the back. The waves were there because I couldn’t reach it and I didn’t want to risk melting the rubber bands for putting the iron too close to the rubber bands.
There is no way I can achieve chopstick straight hair without rebounding. Not like I want to, it will be very high maintenance with my natural curls.
Left: Picture taken about half hour after straightening. See how the curve came back?
Right: The one and only photo of myself in my camera taken in Merdeka Palace toilet ;p
Yesterday eye makeup failed badly because of the stupid double eyelids tape that didn’t stick! The tape was not properly cut and I couldn’t remove it properly. With all the tugging, the stickiness was gone. I wasted 2 pairs of the tape and the last one failed on me and I had to remove it in the toilet! GRRR!
Oh well… What to expect from cheap stuff like this? I’ve been using it for quite a while and how lucky that the sheet I’m using yesterday was not properly cut by the machine. I’m sure many of my photos were ruined by the double eyelids tape coz it “popped out” from my eyelid. BOOO!
Towards the night, I was not really in the mood for any photo because without the tape, my right eyelid was dropping and making my two eyes looked imbalance! That’s the problem when you are having a pair of eyes with one side of the double eyelid showing and another side hidden that makes the eyelid looked puffy.
Mine also like that… the straightness doesn’t last long 🙁
ahlost, I thought your hair is original straight.
nice to see u again after so long no meet. u look great that nite! so, don’t worry on the outcome of the pichas!
Btw, do u know there’s this liquid thingy that can also do the double eyelid. it’s more convenient and no worries for it to pop up n stuff like that.
i’m posting the pichas up on fb, just see see which one you want and take it. if u want original form of the pichas, just let me know. 🙂
annna, yea… I know got the glue type but not easy to wash off. Will go curi your pics ;p Thanks.
by the way, there is this technique called ‘relaxing’ that you can do…it’s not exactly rebonding or straightening so it won’t get a ‘chopstick’ effect like you say but it’s a more natural straightness.
you can try asking if the salon does it…
L, yea I heard of that but still with the nature of my hair, any kind of chemical straightening will lead to high maintenance when it grows out so I prefer to let it be. When it grows out, nothing will be affected. I’ll just go for temporary straightening with hair iron will do.
that’s true…anyway, your hair is nice as it is. embrace what you have. lucks!
L, yea… In fact I quite like my natural curls, many thought that I did it in the salon.
