I thought there won’t be any food related post for the time being but it seems like here it is again.
First stop was Hanii’s Bistro, thought of going to McD coz I’m craving for the fries and apple pie but no parking so ended up here since I heard some good feedback from people about this place.
No food in this though as we didn’t order any food but just simple drink that you can get anywhere else in town. Hmm… Maybe find one day to dine here, anyone wanna go with me? The food price seems reasonable and there are tonnes of choices but drinks are pretty limited. This place has many Malay/Muslim patrons, that’s what I noticed and it’s operated by the Malay/Muslim too if not mistaken.
Don’t ask me if it’s halal because I forgot to check it out but judging from the crowd, it might be.
Forgot to mention, this place is near Sarawak Plaza, located at the same place as Foochow Association at Jalan Chan Chin Ann.
Next stop, we went to tHe Spring because couldn’t think of where else to go. Ordered some items on the promotion menu. The stall is operated by All Joy. Got lots of interesting drinks and ice desserts. Here’s what we ordered:
Left: Ice cream cendol(RM3.30), this is not the exact name if not mistaken. Something different and if you can’t stand something too sweet, I wouldn’t recommend you to have this as the red bean is sweet enough couple with the ice cream, it’s even sweeter.
Right: Macha with cincau(RM2.80, original price is RM3+). Not bad, I quite like it.
So that’s all for now.
Happy Easter!
btw, that Bistro, I think is halal coz I too also seen a lot of Malays dining in there. =/
They’ve got one big sign saying “Serve NO Pork”
annna, don’t know le… Maybe yes, maybe not.
allen, no pork != halal, there are many muslims that are very particular about it.
