I AM SO ANGRY!! GRRR!
Suddenly, a blue vertical line appears on the left of my laptop screen. OH NO!!!! I had this problem last time with my first laptop and got the screen replaced FOC because it was only 2 days after the day of purchase. This time, my Dell XPS M1530 which is only 2 years+ is having this problem! DIE! I did some research online and found out that many people ended up with more lines within 3 months after the first line appeared! I also read that some had their screen unusable after 2 weeks! The screen completely died!
OH NO! !@#$%^&* DAMN! I’m so so so so piss! Why happen now?!?! My extended warranty had just ended in July! Now is the time I need the laptop to do my works(so many projects going on now) and also my studies! 100% rely on this laptop! I don’t have any money to spare to get a new one! What’s more this one cost me RM4199! Freaking 4000 Ringgit WEI and only last less than two years! Why it didn’t happen earlier when my warranty was still valid?!?! BLARDY HELL!
What should I do now? Do you know anyone that can fix it or how much to fix it? I did find out that it might cost more than RM500 to get it fixed but I can’t part with it even a day! Temporary fix, I can use an external screen but this is impossible for long term. I really want to cry already.
Sigh… Make me no mood only! I have enough to worry about these days and I don’t need this to add to my worries. Great! Why all the bad things come in one go. If I strike the jackpot, I will not be so worry about this problem because I can just easily get a new one unlike now. As if I buy lottery, never buy one and not intend to buy any.
Told you I’m jinxed, I always have problem with electronic gadgets. That explains why I don’t go crazy or bother about the latest gadgets, I even lost track of what’s hot and not in this hardware industry. All I hope now is that it will not go worst and stay at this one line for another year at least.
sorry to hear u’ve got a DELL from Hell! Been using Acer Aspire One MIni for more than a year and never gives me single bump!
Miss Coki, it will depend on how u use it too, I never like Acer ;p No matter what kind of electronic gadget I have, I’m always jinxed. Other people use never got problem one but me -.-” sure will have problem no matter how good the product is.
My advise, don’t buy top of the range laptop. Buy an average one as it won’t last long. Average laptop life is two years and that’s when the warranty end.
William, yea… after this one, I won’t go for any top range one. My first one is still good except need to add on the RAM, the screen faded at the corners, already more than 5 years ;p.
Besides, I bought this is second one because of the specs that I need for my work so what to do? Now, just hoping that the line just stay as it is and doesn’t get worst. I can live with that one line. Everything else are still working fine, just need to add extra RAM which I already have waiting to be added, dug it out from my sister malfunction laptop hehehe…
