Fruit Jelly

Posted on March 9, 2009March 8, 2009 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Fruit Jelly

One last recipe from the previous demo class. In fact this is just simple recipe to make jelly. Sometimes we did the first few steps wrongly but it’s usually fool proof.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 tin cocktail fruit
  • 60g instant jelly powder
  • 1200ml Water
  • 200g Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Boil water.
  2. When almost boil, add in sugar.
  3. When completely boil, add in jelly powder.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Add a bit of syrup from the cocktail fruit if you want to add some flavour.
  6. Place cocktail fruits into the mould. Up to your preference, you want more you put more.
  7. Pour jelly into the mould.
  8. Cool it and then place in the fridge.

Very easy right?

The Moody Me Camwhoring

Posted on March 8, 2009March 8, 2009 By sweet surrender 8 Comments on The Moody Me Camwhoring

This post is meant for those that complaining about me not posting enough photos of myself and also to my haters. Hahaha…

For the former, here you go…

These were taken when I’m moody. Usually people will only camwhore when they are in good mood. These two are with makeup, taken before I go to class.

The 4 of them below are without makeup.

This is my first time I camwhore when I’m not even in the mood to smile. You know… When you are in bad mood, just look at the mirror and give yourself a smile and it will perk you up a little.

So I tried camwhoring and it indeed helped a bit even though the photos turned out with not-so-happy-look. Something different at least ;p Who will want to put their moody faces online right? Don’t even say have the mood to even take photo.

For the later, I know you hate me so much but still like to come in here. So this face is meant to make you people hate me even more! Or to give you people heart attack for seeing so many me starring at you! HAHAHAH!

Happy Sunday everyone and tomorrow is a public holiday! Anyway, nothing much I’ll be doing, need to prepare for my exam.

Beauty Sarawak 2009

Posted on March 7, 2009March 7, 2009 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Beauty Sarawak 2009

I went to Beauty Sarawak 2009 yesterday at Riverside Majestic just to see what was it all about because it felt as if like something very big scale but…

Was greeteed by this…

And these…

So disappointing. It’s so small scale. The booths are pathetic. *SWEAT* Anyway, I managed to get my first ever gel nail there. I don’t think they will have it today or tomorrow. The notice seemed to be put up on the booth last minute. Just scribbled with a pen and pasted it on top of the booth.

Since no people and the participants were all feeling so bored and some even fell asleep or chit chatting with each other, my bro and I went and asked about the free nail service and TADA! We each got one! ;p My fingernail instantly become this looong!

Cheddar Cheese Cookies

Posted on March 6, 2009March 6, 2009 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Cheddar Cheese Cookies

Actually I found this recipe long time ago at Jen Jen’s Place and thought of trying it out but I’m so lazy. I save it as draft for so long.

Before CNY, I bought the Cheese Sticks from tHe Spring CNY Bazaar. It’s not sweet at all. I love it! I notice there’s black pepper in Cheese Sticks. Then I remember I saw black pepper listed in this recipe before. I think this is the recipe for it, should be similar.

Ingredients:

  • 250gm Butter
  • 600gm flour
  • 250gm grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3cup fresh milk

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, grated cheddar cheese, black pepper, salt and butter in a large bowl. Mix them well.
  2. You can use your hand or the mixer at low speed. You should be getting crumble texture at this time.
  3. Mix in the fresh milk and knead.
  4. The dust the table and rolling pin slightly.
  5. Take 1/3 of the dough and knead into a ball.
  6. Flatten out on the dusted table using the rolling pin.
  7. Cut into desire shape and placed on butter baking tray.
  8. Baked in oven at 200 degree for about 15-20 minutes or until it is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let it cool on the rack. Keep in airtight container.

Wholemeal Banana Cake

Posted on March 5, 2009March 5, 2009 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Wholemeal Banana Cake

Such long awaited recipe that I had forgotten to share since last year ;p This is not a muffin, it’s actually a cake. It was only placed in a muffin cup. Who says a cake cannot be placed in a muffin cup? Here’s the ingredients:

  • 220g butter
  • 180g sugar
  • 3g salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 200g low protein flour
  • 50g wholemeal flour
  • 3g soda
  • 5g baking powder
  • 80g mashed banana

Instructions:

  1. Beat butter and sugar until well-mixed.
  2. Add egg one by one and beat well.
  3. Add mashed banana. Do it early in the stage when you prepare the ingredients and then after mashed, you can also add in vanilla essence. Don’t worry about it getting brown, the browner the better.
  4. Mix salt, low protein flour, wholemeal flour, and baking baking powder together then add into the mixture and beat well.
  5. Pre-heat the oven, 160 degree Celcius.
  6. You can then place the mixture into muffin cup or tray, only fill the muffin cup or tray 70% full as it will rise.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes with 160 degree Celcius if muffin cups are used. If tray, then 180 degree Celcius for 10-15 minutes. In fact it’s all depending on the size of the tray or the cup.

Don’t they look easy? The thing is that I hate the cleaning up part hehehe…

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
