We went to Old Time Coffee House for lunch last Saturday.
It’s located at the ex-Everrise office at Petanak. Very easy to locate actually. It’s somewhere near the small roundabout at Petanak. The only open till 7pm if I’m not mistaken.
Left: Nasi Lemak Special(RM6.90). Not so bad but I still prefer those Malay stall ones ;p
Right: Curry Chicken Mee, this comes in a set. The lunch set is RM5.30(or RM5.80, I don’t remember the price ;p) inclusive of a glass of Ice Teh O or Ice Coffee O.
Left: Lum Mee, also from the lunch set. Better eat this when it’s piping hot, when it’s cold, there’s a kind of smell. It’s edible, nothing wrong with it. It’s just the kind of smell that we didn’t like, not our taste. Quite big bowl.
Right: Curry Chicken Rice. This is also from the lunch set. The rice was the same rice as the nasi lemak. The curry was the same as the one in the mee. Nothing much to rave about. Curry was just curry.
If you notice, each of the dish with curry came with drumstick? The meat is quite tender.
I think it’s a great place for breakfast but if you are expecting something more for lunch, then you won’t get much choices.
By the way, many people mistaken this place as Old Town. It’s actually Old Time. -.-” Well… I’m one of them.
p/s: supposed to be “Coffee House” but in the picture I used “Kopitiam”, lazy to change ;p
This place is quite near my office. I’ve been a couple of times for coffee break. The coffee is good, but food only so so.
Borneoboy, many said they like their coffee. Food is really so so.
