My First Pancakes

Posted on January 8, 2007January 9, 2007 By sweet surrender 5 Comments on My First Pancakes

After making the waffles, I think we must make pancakes with the Pancake Mix else it would feel like something isn’t right. 😛

Same ingredients, same measurements, 1 cup of Pancaka Mix and 3/4 cup of water, and mix them well.

Instead of using the waffle maker, use a pan or skillet.

Instructions:
1. Heat the pan or skillet with a small amount of oil, estimated aboout 2 tablespoons of cooking oil or shortenings. NO BUTTER! DO NOT USE BUTTER! I tried it twice and the results were disappointing.
2. When the oil is hot enough, pour the batter into the pan or skillet. When the top bubbled, check to see whether the bottom can be lifted up or not. If it can, then flip it.

* I’m not good in flipping pancake or omelette hence the result is what you see here 😛

3. Serve it with butter and honey or with anything that you like.
The final result… Ugly pancake. Hahahah…

LOL well it looks like you almost got the pancake just right. Did it taste ok? I need to send you some Maple Syrup but I dont think you can get liquids through customs.

When I make pancakes I like to use a non-stick pan and no butter or oil and cook slowly on medium heat.

Hehehe… Yes, the pancake tasted good. It’s successful just ugly. I just followed the steps stated on the box 😛 Hehehhe.. no worries, I can get maple syrup here, if not mistaken, saw it before just that it’s quite expensive.

That looks yummy. Maybe you can try flipping the pancakes over so that they’re even?
