It’s said that today is the day of devils but it’s also a day of many people tying their knots.
LOL… Me? Since when? Just pulling your legs. It’s Ann! She’s the one that exclaimed this ;p I’m just her witness. The whole process was FAST! We had not got into the mood and everything was done LOL… Jimmy and I reached Teochew Association at 2pm. Jimmy was the appointed photographer ;p but all the pic you see here were taken by me ehhehe… except the family pic, this is because all pictures taken by him were in Ann’s camera and some obstructions of view from the angle of the photographer. Then waited for Eric, Jee’s witness to come so that we can get the number. Finally he’s here and the number got was 005… too fast!!! Ehehehe… slower a bit will be 006, and it will 6 all the way ;p
The rings and the couple.
Me and Ann, Jee and Eric. Camwhore a bit while waiting ;p
One for the album with Jee’s and Ann’s family. Arggg.. my hair looked big! It’s time to trim! AHAHAAH…
<>br
It’s time! 005!
The signing ceremony was conducted in Mandarin, Jee and Ann were blurred with what the officer was talking about LOL… actually me too. Couldn’t catch what he said. It sounded something like this:
Officer: Mr. Jee, are you here without anyone forcing you?
Jee: Yes.
Office: Ms. Chung, are you here wihtout anyone forcing you?
Ann: Yes.
Officer: Mr. Jee, are you willing to take Ms. Chung as you wife *blah blah*…
Jee: Yes.
Officer: Ms. Chung, are you willing to take Mr. Jee as you husband *blah blah*…
Ann: Yes.
Officer: Now I pronounce you husband and wife. You are legally married and this will for your lifetime. During this period of time, you are not allow to marry again.*blah blah*…
DONE! Sign Sign sign… 3 copies to sign for the 4 of us.
The certificates.
After signing, it’s done and allowed to go but the couple wanted to exchange rings, so the officer let it be. Wow… Big diamond!! How many carat?
Then, Ann’s grandmather(her mom’s side) congratulated them and told them to love each and take care of each other. Then, she handed them "ang paos".
After "ang poas", she gave Ann a gold bracelet. Next… you can see for yourself.
Everything’s done. This was taken outside the room.
All the best to you, Ann! Congrates! Looking forward to 9th July for the tea ceremony and the reception 🙂
