Web Hosting Geek

Posted on November 19, 2008November 20, 2008 By sweet surrender No Comments on Web Hosting Geek

I’ve been talking about wanting to change my web hosting for ages already but got no time to do it. So busy, only managed to move some sites over but this blog is still in the same old hosting.

How about you? I know of someone that is looking for new web hosting now because her current web host wanted her to upgrade but they charge quite expensive. She was asking about which hosting she should go for because there are too many out there and it’s hard to decide.

Then I realised I came across webhostinggeeks.com before and good thing they are paying me to write about this now. So let me share with you, this site is a very useful site if you are looking for web hosting. They have various type of hosting so you can decide easily based on your needs.

I know many people are looking for budget hosting and according to them, WebHostingPad is the best budget hosting for 2008. Why don’t you go over and check it out.

If you have other hosting in mind and not sure about whether it is good or not, then you can find various reviews regarding various hosting companies. I hope this site is useful for you. All the best in hunting for new hosting.

Shop Online With Ease

Posted on September 5, 2008September 5, 2008 By sweet surrender No Comments on Shop Online With Ease

I’m sure many of you shop online. I do shop online but not all online shops ship items to Malaysia or Asia. Sometimes when I see something that I like which I can’t get it here in Malaysia, it’s very disappointing to find out that they only ship within US or shipping rate is very high. How to solve this problem?

Here’s a website that can help you in this. Visit MyUS.com website and you will be surprise to know that you can now shop online in any US based online shops that do not ship internationally or charge high postage for international shipping.

It is very simple. Access USA will provide you with a genuine US street address that is unique to you. It is not a Post Office Box ok? This is your own street address that US retailers will accept as a valid shipping destination. You can also also enjoy very low international shipping rates, so much less than rates from US retailers. You’ll be surprise that you can save up to 70% on international shipping.

Isn’t this great? I know someone is jumping up and down reading this now. You can now shop online with no worries of high shipping charges, unavailability of international shipping and enjoy the same merchandise selection, pricing, and discounts as US residents.

Cooler Master Notepal B2

Posted on August 26, 2008November 21, 2008 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Cooler Master Notepal B2

I bought Cooler Master Notepal B2 at Sarawak ICT Expo 2008. It cost me RM105 for the one in titanium. If it’s silver or black, it’s RM100. In fact it’s more than RM120 if not mistaken, my sis helped me to bargain till RM100 on the first day but didn’t buy. Went there on the last day and the guy told us black and silver were out of stock, left titanium and he couldn’t give RM100 for titanium but said RM105 is the lowest, oh well… What to do? You won’t be seeing Cooler Master selling at price below RM110 for this size. I’m not sure it’s a bargain for this or not but at least it does it work well.

Here’s the box and Cooler Master Notepal B2 in titanium, it’s made from stylishly brushed high quality aluminium alloy.

I’m not sure… I just can’t recall. I was shown the black one on the first day and the material is kinda thin and pretty light though it’s the same model. As for this, it’s pretty heavy and quite thick. Hmm… Maybe I got the wrong feel, really can’t recall anything about the black one.

It’s so tough and it can really kill people if you hit people with it. I accidentally knocked the corner on our cement wall and it actually caused a small dent to the wall. I really cannot imagine if it fell on the floor and I’m sure the mosaic would crack! If it fell on my toes, my toes might even be broken! GAH!! Dare not to imagine it.

Also, I accidentally knocked my laptop underside(at the very corner near the battery area) to Cooler Master corner, it caused a very small dent to the metal area of my laptop. It’s not obvious unless you inspect it carefully. Ok… Ok… To say that I’m very clumsy isn’t wrong also hahaha…

It came with one USB cable. The fans are just the fans you can find in your computer hahaha… In fact you can make this yourselves hehehe…

Left: There’s two ports, this will ensure that you will still have one more port for use in case you need an extra port.
Right: This is how it looked like from the side.

The result, my notebook is not hot anymore but only warm. Sometimes I’m absent minded enough that I forgot to on the switch of the fan but it still didn’t heat up that much. I was suprised.

The fan is very quiet also.

In case you want to see how it fits my notebook. 😉 Here’s the photo.

Oh… One last thing, it came with one year warranty. I’m not sure how long it will die though. We’ll wait and see. I don’t on it 24/7, only when I’m using my laptop on the dining table then I use it.

Ahem… Testing, Testing

Posted on August 26, 2008August 26, 2008 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Ahem… Testing, Testing

I heard of Roxio online for quite sometimes already and I had seen some bloggers using it. Recently I tried to camwhored with my new camera and it’s now time to show you some shoots of myself hahaha… It’s been a while not posting up vain photos 😛 I still haven’t master the skill with it yet. Need more practice 😛

Only 3 steps required. Fast and easy. It supports GIF, JPEG, PNG and BMP. The speed of uploading your photos will depend on the size of your photos. Since I only have 3, it should be quite fast… The size limit is 20MB. You can also add in music, style, captions and stickers in it.

Like the effect of Roxio? Then you should go get one yourself and show your friend all your photos with Roxio slide show.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
