We went to UCSI yesterday afternoon to learn about table setting. This is one of the activities of tHe Spring Ambassador Hunt. Not all of us could make it as it’s working hour so those working were allowed to skip this.

We were briefed by Mr. Dicky and some of the faculty students about table setting. It was really fun and interesting. Now I know how to do all these! WEE! If I need to prepare a romantic dinner for my darling next time, I know how to do it hahaha…

There were 4 parts.

First part was setting up the table centerpiece. Just like wrapping present don’t you think?

Second part was setting up the table.

Third part was folding the napkin.

Forth part was opening the wine/champagne bottle and how to pour it into the glass.

It’s not easy, the bottle was so heavy.

Left: Finally we filled up our glasses with sparking juice.
Right: Pour… Pour… Pour… I was so afraid that the whole bottle would tip over due to my small hand. Only one hand was used but I ended up using another hand to support the upper part of the bottle just in case. That’s obviously not my hand ;p

After that, we’re done!

We took our time sitting down, sipping the sparkling juice, eating the pudding and catching up with each other before we called it a day. One interesting experience and new knowledge gained.

We attended 2 talks yesterday night at UCSI.

First talk was about tourism by ex-CEO of Sarawak Tourism Board, Gracie Geike, at the UCSI’s Coffee Bar and Bistro. The smell of coffee was so good but I don’t drink coffee *LOL* I just love the smell. It was a great session and we got better ideas now about the tourism industry. Not to forget, UCSI offers related course if you are interested.

Who will be the ambassador for tHe Spring(minus the guy in black in the last photo ;p) next year? Hehehe… I’m not in there, I’m behind the camera. I didn’t take any photo of myself with my camera, it’s all in others’ cameras and none of them are free to send the photos of me yet, so you don’t see me in this post. The other girl is not in the photo too as she was busy with work stuffs around the the place.

Since I don’t drink coffee, I had tea.

After the talk about tourism, we headed to the classroom for another talk about health by two representatives from NewLife.

Right: Sam handled the Q&A session. It was such a noisy and fun session but we did learn a lot. Guess what?!?! He is younger than me and most of us(mind you, I’m the oldest of all the finalists), so you can imagine how young he is. Impressive! His height was very impressive too besides his look and knowledge*LOL*

At around 9pm, we called it a night.

I went to get my sports shoes because of this… The working out session of tHe Spring Ambassador Hunt.

We were supposed to be at Level Up at 10.30am and I was slightly late. Luckily I’m not the latest ;p.

Before working out, we didn’t forget about camwhoring.

It was embarrassing session for me. -.-” I almost faint towards the end of the BodyPump session and I had to take time out for a while before continuing. If I did faint, I guess I’ll be the first person to workout until fainted at Level Up *LOL*

Besides that, this is the first time I experienced such spell. Mind you, I’ve never faint before. Towards the end of BodyCombat, I felt like I wanted to vomit and couldn’t really breath. I did BodyCombat before for 1 hour during the grand opening of the gym and it was a piece of cake for me but I have no idea why I’m like that just now.

When we started BodyPump, I started to feel a bit giddy but I ignored it. Then suddenly I felt like everything was spinning for a while, then I got blurred vision. Not long later, everything started to look like a photo that is over exposed. I immediately stopped and went to the corner to rest.

It’s was really really embarrassing -.- I think this will be in the video coz while I’m trying to get myself back into one piece, the videographer pointed his camera at me hahaha… I was asked by some whether I’m OK or not and I said that I’m not hahaha… I sat there, rested for a while, got myself together and joined the session again, it was almost the end already too.

What an experience. Luckily nothing happen. I suspected that it might be due to my allergy attack yesterday and I wasn’t fully recovered this morning as my nose still felt a bit itchy, my throat was a bit dried, and still had a bit of headache. However, after the session, I didn’t feel all those anymore.

I had problem following the instructor today. It’s a different instructor. This is my second time doing it and I still couldn’t get my coordination together. I did better the first time, today wasn’t good.

Many complain of having sore legs and so on but not me ;p Even in previous workouts at the gym, I didn’t have any problem with soreness even though I didn’t do any proper work out for years.

Anyway, it was fun 😉 We all went for lunch after that.

Remember the photo shoot session weeks ago? Eeek… Didn’t know it’s elimination round. Now, 14 left.

Reached tHe Spring at 10am for our make up before our photo shoot session at Alvin Leong’s studio. We were there without make up. This is our before make up photos. Too bored while waiting so we camwhored to kill our boredom. Only until 12.45pm then it’s my turn to get my make up done. Long enough…

I decided to buy a pair of fake lashes at Stage, the cheapest and basic lashes I could find. This is also my virgin experience with fake lashes. I didn’t bring enough money coz I didn’t expect to spend on anything except food and parking fee. At the end of the day, I had only RM1 left in my bag. Luckily I’m allowed to get it using member price with some other people’s account, if not I won’t have any money left for parking! *blek*

We were divided into to groups in the beginning, the tall group and the short group hahahaha… Then later we had various combination.

Some how I quite like the over exposed photo ;p Looks very dramatic.

Wish I can share more but many turned out blurred coz they didn’t know how to handle my camera also because of the setting I used, a bit of shakiness is enough to make the photos blur.

Anyway, after the session, off we went to have our very late lunch. Was so hungry. We only had kaya balls before the photo shoot ;p

It was a fun day and our group was a multiracial group(Chinese and mix parentage) and we ranged from various ages, came from various areas in Kuching, and we only knew each other for hours but we just clicked! We really took care of each other pretty well. It’s a really great experience. Kudos guys and girls!
