WOW! It’s been awhile huh? ;p Was busy with lots of things lately and was sick last weekend -.-”
So on the second day, we headed out to Dreamworld at Gold Coast. Luckily my friend’s housemates wanted to go too, so they drove. Else, it would be extremely expensive to go there via public transport. What’s more we’re on extremely tight budget. Spent about $110 for annual unlimited access pass as it allows access to Dreamworld, Whitewater World, and Skypoint. Should just buy the day pass because there’s no way to play at Whitewater World, it’s damn cold! Due to miscommunication oh well… Maybe I’ll get to go again before the pass expires in June 2013.
It took us about 45 minutes or less (if not mistaken) to drive there from Brisbane.
Frankly, I was a bit disappointed with it. It’s not as grand as I thought. Anyway, paid so much, might just enjoy it as much as possible even though it didn’t live up to my expectation.
Left: The place selling all the sweets and chocolates.
Right: The first ride, The Claw! OMG! Damn scary! It’s insane of us to go on such ride as a start. The scariest of all! I screamed like crazy and didn’t even dare to open my eyes. Sswinging at up to 75 km/h and spinning 360 degrees!
Left: Wipeout, my second ride. Another high thrill one. This wasn’t as scary as Claw. I opened my eyes througout the whole ride. In fact I rather enjoyed it except during the time we were hanging upside down ;p
After that, went on a medium thrill ride and it was much scarier than Wipeout, screamed my heart out -.-” Made me giddy too. It’s called the Reef Rider, no photo of it though.
Right: Then, it was Shockwave. This is a piece of cake.
Left: Then we walked around Shrek’s Faire Faire Away.
Right: Saw Kung Fu Panda at Po’s Kung Fu Gardenand took a photo with him. Too bad this section wasn’t completed yet.
We then headed to see the tigers at Tiger Island . My first time seeing real tigers! The babies, they’re huge even though only few months old.
The presentation by the tigers.
Next, we went to get our annual pass and few more rides, to be continued…
