Happy Mothers’ Day

Posted on May 13, 2007May 13, 2007 By sweet surrender No Comments on Happy Mothers’ Day

It’s Mothers’ Day today. How’s your celebrations so far? As for us, nothing, no celebrations, it’s just another day for us. We do not make such a big deal over this day, fathers’ day too. Every year it’s just another day for us. We don’t celebrate much. Birthdays are also nothing to be hu ha about. We are just not into special celebrations.

Some families treated these days as very special days but not for us. I don’t know… It’s just not in our family to celebrate much. Well, it’s odd I know but I don’t think it’s such a big deal. To us, any day can be mothers’ day, fathers’ day, Valentine’s day etc. even our parents always tell us that if we want to get married, have it as simple as possible. The best is just go to ROM and get married legally, the rest are not important. That would be enough to settle it. After that get back to our daily life as usual. See?

That’s all. Need to go back to work. Need to complete some works for next week. Happy Mothers’ Day to all the mothers in this universe.

I’m So Proud…

Posted on May 10, 2007 By sweet surrender 18 Comments on I’m So Proud…

The weather is super hot! However, I still want to eat “Ma La” Steamboat! HAHAHA… Crazy!

Ok… I’m just talking rubbish here or whatever you are thinking. I’m just stuck with something now and have no idea on how to do it so I’m a bit “crazy” now. Or if you think that I look down on you or I’m being jealous, then that’s your problem. It’s just the trend that I noticed lately after blogging for 7 years!! 7 years and I’m still one of the little fish swimming in blogsphere yet people started later than me had became very big fish already.

I found out that many bloggers started blogging because they are inspired by Kenny Sia. Almost everyone of them going like “I started this blog becasue I read Kenny Sia and I’m inspired by him”, something along this line. Everything Kenny Sia, Kenny Sia, Kenny Sia. So I’m proud to say that I’m not inspired by him!

YAY! At least I’m different! I started my blog so much earlier than him, that’s in 2001 but I’m still not popular. It’s Ann that suggested me to blog and I just did it without much thinking because my main aim was to keep in touch with my friends. Not many were into blogging that time and many might not even aware that there was this thing called blog until Kenny Sia became a phenomena(at least in Malaysia). You know, I really got kinda fed up already by this “I’m inspired by Kenny Sia yada.. yada…” thing but then he made it big of course most bloggers got inspired by him. No doubt but still hmmm… I don’t feel like it’s very original lo~ Especially those trying very hard to mimic his blogging style. Go get your own identity lar~ And oh… I’m not his die hard fan in anyway, thank you.

Then now, blogging can make money for you. Almost everyone started a blog for the sake of making money from sponsored posts and advertisement banners. Again… I’m proud that I started it long before this monetizing your blog trend started. YAY! I’m different again! Of course I’m part of the dark side now. I’m monetizing my blog just like everybody else! HAHAHAH! Still I make sure I have more original contents than sponsored ones.

For goodness sake! I found that some blogs are damn lame and not original! All they do is just posting stuffs forwarded to them in their e-mails. Or some tech blogs just copy and paste the latest news they found on the Net from different sources. I close my browser immediately after seeing them. You are damn pathetic OK?!?!? I don’t mind if the blog have a mixture of the former and the later as long that you have your original contents in there else you are damn pathetic.

Not that I’m a blogging guru, if I am, I’m going to be more popular than Kenny Sia! It’s just the fact that these are what we are seeing nowadays in blogsphere. There is a lack of originality and quality blogs nowadays.

I’m jealous? I look down on you? I don’t care what you are thinking! The fact is that I’m proud that I’m not inspired by the same person that inspired many bloggers and I started mine so much earlier than those big fishes. Also, I started my blog not because of the money too. So yea! I have a reason to be proud of myself and my blog though I’m not BIG!

AH!! It’s 12.50am now… I’m still stuck. Still can’t get any idea. Better go to sleep. Nite!

P/S: You can also treat this post as SEO post hahaha….

No Ambulance Service To Rural Area!

Posted on May 7, 2007May 8, 2007 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on No Ambulance Service To Rural Area!

Rest In Peace. You will always be in our memories. Don’t worry, for God will look after us.

What’s the use of an ambulance? What’s the use of hospital in a small district with so many kampungs in there?

I really don’t understand. Aren’t you supposed to be providing services to all these people staying there no matter they live in the town or in the small villages? Is it so hard to send an ambulance into the village when they need one? Summore, the village’s road is properly tarred, no one ask you to venture in those muddy or rocky road. Dare to said that you don’t provide ambulance service to them? You are not a private hospital! You’re a government hospital. It’s your job to take care and provide medical services for those living in your area! Who else they can rely but you?

Fine! I know that the ambulance is huge! There are small ambulance that is available also. Even vans and 4-wheel drives that are provided to your hospital for you to do your work will do. Why can’t you utilised it? Those people rely on you to help them to send those sick villagers in the village to the hospital.

I noticed that many villagers delayed seeking medical treatments when they are very sick because you don’t provide ambulance service into their village. They have difficulty in sending the sick to the hospital because they don’t have enough knowledge on how to handle the sick and they are afraid that improper handling might cause more problem to the sick. All these don’t matter at all! The fact is that, isn’t that supposed to be the work of ambulance sending people to the hospital?!?!? Summore, the ambulance has facilities and the space for the sick, at least early treatments can be given first by the medical personnels.

At the end, they just have to let the sick suffer at home and eventually died! All because of no ambulance service provided to them!

Back to my point again, what is your role there? It’s unbelievable that there is no ambulance service made available to those in rural area! DAMN IT! Now I know! All these while I thought ambulance should come when you need it, it doesn’t matter it’s from the government hospital or private hospital. This is how it should work right? Government ambulance only charges RM10 per trip unlike the private one charges RM600 per trip then fee is charge to the bill when they are discharged, no money should be collected on the spot. I don’t think it’s all because of the money, I don’t know what. Policy? What kind of rubbish/stupid/useless policy is that?

UNBELIVEABLE! THERE IS NO AMBULANCE SERVICE PROVIDED TO THOSE LIVING IN RURAL AREA!

Who Deserves It More?

Posted on May 4, 2007May 7, 2007 By sweet surrender 8 Comments on Who Deserves It More?

Update:

I was awakened by siren of a fire engine this morning, it’s rush hour around 8am, the fire engine was having difficulty trying to squeeze its way out.

Then, about 5 minutes later, my dad came back told us that my ex-classmate from secondary school staying at the next few shops away from us jumped from the third floor and miraculously still alive with leg injuries that were quite bad. Blood was everywhere because she tried to drag herself away from those that wanted to help her. She had nervous breakdown, she kept laughing and talking non sense. I had not seen her for quite sometimes even at her working place, she might be sick for quite sometimes already and today she did something unexpected. Heard that her husband has scratches on his face. I’m wondering what had caused her to have nervous breakdown. *Scary* Initially after she landed on the ground, her husband carried her into the car but who knows just few second after turning his back, she managed to get out of the car.

Her husband panicked until he forgot all about calling an ambulance with his mobile phone and asking those around where to get an ambulance. There is no way her husband can handle her alone, she’s hysterical and he’s panicking. Good thing that those “kuli keng”(labourers) working there helped immobilised her to avoid her hurting herself again while waiting for the ambulance. I think there should be people calling the ambulance on her husband behalf, who will just stand there and see and do nothing right? There are still people that care.

I didn’t see anything, that’s what my dad told us. I tried to peep from my room window but it’s too far to be seen.

It took quite a while for the ambulance to come since it’s rush hour. These two incidents this morning had given me the inspirations to write this post.

Imagine this…

You are driving halfway, suddenly you hear sirens from behind, then the traffic police will block the road to make way for the VVIP’s cars to pass tru’. If you are lucky to be at the same direction of the the VVIP, then you get the right of the way first if you’re at the traffic light. All vehicles from other sides will not be allowed to move even if the light is green.

OK… Back to my main point here. I’m sure many of us came across fire engine, ambulance or police during rush hour. It’s not easy for them to get tru’ right? They are so huge and jams have long queues of cars, even with the siren, it’s not enough. Those in front won’t know what happen at the back so it’s impossible for them to make way for them, when the front don’t make way, how are those behind going to make way? Imagine if it’s the VVIP on the way, they would definitely be given the right of the way no matter what by having the traffic police with their white huge motorbikes blocking traffics from everywhere to make way.

So… What do you think? Should the ambulance, fire engine or the police be escorted by the traffic police also and make way for them? This way they can get to the emergency scene faster than trying so hard to squeeze in between the queues. The VVIPs can get this kind of treatment, why can’t those ambulance, fire engine or police have it too? They need to save lives for heaven’s sake! Which is more important?

Think about it!

Why You Get Married?

Posted on April 23, 2007April 24, 2007 By sweet surrender 9 Comments on Why You Get Married?

I’m out of things to blog for the time being. So… I’m just going to share some views of mine from my observations. I wonder… What are the reasons for people to decide that they want to get married? You might not agree with it or you might have the same view as mine, whatever it is, I’m still going to list them out.

1. Both are ready to embark on the next phase of life because they are mature enough to do so which this is really good.

2. There are some that got married because of “accident”. For our culture, it’s a shame to the family, therefore they force the couple to get married to save face. It’s ok if the couple is ready and they do accept the responsibility but there are many that I notice are just opposite. They got married in a speed of lightning and divorce in a speed of lightning too. Sorry, I do look down on people like this. What’s the point of getting married like this? You want to save your face, at the end you also lose your face. Spent so much on the lavish wedding and ended up with ugly divorce that cost a lot of money and fight for child custody. So troublesome. Serve you right! People! If you want to have sex, go ahead but please be responsible to yourself and your partner. Sex is only for those that are mature and responsible bunch. Don’t do it if you are still a kid, it doesn’t matter you are in your 20’s or 30’s or whatever, as long that you don’t know how to be a responsible person then you are a kid. Got it? You will not understand this if you’re a kid. Simple.

3. Some got married because you want to escape from your family problem. This is stupid! You are not even sincere at all. You just want to escape. Usually this type will not think carefully before jump into a marriage. Stupid enough that they thought they can escape but they ended up in another set of problem for themselves in their own marriage and with their in-laws in all kind of aspects because they don’t plan and think carefully. They only think about how to ESCAPE! HAHAHA!!! I’m going to laugh at you, such idiots! It happens that I know several people that are like this and it happens that I don’t like them too, so I’m going to laugh, laugh, laugh and laugh. See people that I don’t like suffer is such a bliss!

4. Some got married becuase they have some motives behind. Usually it’s for money. I don’t think I need to elaborate further on this. You know, I know. Very straight forward.

Hmmm… Can only think of these 4. So… I have no conclusion hahaha… They are just parts and parcels of our life and everyone deserves to have their own views and deserve to look down on people(don’t say you don’t, I’m sure you do look down on certain people, you are also human) and being “evil”.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
