Let’s eat ice cream!

My dad and bro went shopping few weeks back and they bought some Paddle Pop ice creams back. One of them is this Paddle Pop Candy Cake Xplosion. They bought 4 types but only manage to blog about this because the rest they had eaten it, left this for me *LOL* Paddle Pop is always known for it’s fancy ice creams not only it attracts the kids but also us. 😛 Wait wait… They didn’t pay me for this.

What do you think of the look? I think it’s very cute and colourful! Hehehe… It tasted quite good too, might be too sweet for some people, to me it’s quite sweet but sweet in a good way.

According to the packaging, this is buttercake flavoured ice confection with butter cookie pieces coated orange colour and colour sugar! WOW! Such mouthful and a bit hard to digust hahaha…. It’s RM1 per stick.

I got a lot of it from people that don’t really know me. I didn’t care a damn but when it’s coming from you, I’m really disappointed. All these while I thought you understand but you are no difference like the others. I’m wondering what on earth am I doing here hanging on to it? If I’m also doing what you are doing, you think it will still be here? The answer is NO! I’ve been helping you giving excuses and try to buy time for you ever since you started your new lifestyle. You are tired, I’m not?!?! You’re the one asking for it and now you blame it on me for not able to help you!?!? Summore giving me such kind of statement like anybody else!??! I’m really really PISSED!

Well, it’s not really for a Mothers’ Day celebration though, just that dad said that he wanted to try out the food at After Three, that’s why we went there. At least mom didn’t have to cook for one meal 😛 Hahaha… I warned my parents that the service is extemely slow but food was OK. Who knows this time, it’s opposite. It was faster and food was *thumbs down* than previous visit.

We sat down and started to order. Wanted to order western food but it’s not available, only available after 3pm. So ordered some local food. I ordered iced green tea but they gave me hot green tea. So I told them to change it. They changed and *point to the photo*, is that green tea?!?!? I drank it and it didn’t taste like green tea, more like some syrup drink, wheatgrass but not that thick. *SHRUG* Since the price for these two drinks are the same, I don’t care, lazy to ask them to change again. Tell me, do you think this is green tea? So green…

Now, the food. No wonder many people complained about it and said that they will not go back there anymore. You see and you will know. I really don’t recommend this place, the quality really *shake head* not worth the price.

Left: Fried Chicken Chop Noodle(RM4), the presentation almost made me fall off the chair! What kind of food served like this in an eatery!?!? It’s worst than the normal kopitiam! This is my first time seeing food served this way! Portion was damn small and NOT NICE! A bit spciy but NO NICE! Thank you very much.
Right: Singapore Fried Bee Hoon(RM5), expensive! Thought what’s so special? The bee hoon came all the way from Singapore??!? My mom can cook better than this according to my dad.

Left: Chicken Curry Nasi Lemak(RM5), at least this presentation was better than the rest with the big drumstick there but waited for it for ages, we almost finished our food and only this came. Taste wise? Nothing much to rave about, just better than all the rest that we had ordered.
Right: Curry Noodle(RM4), at least the drumstick was big. The noodle portion was quite small.

So yea… I won’t go back there anymore unless I’m not the one paying for it *LOL*.

I’m so late in postig this… Many people blog about it already, what to do? No time to go over… So busy… And lazy *LOL*

So we(Jimmy, Anna, I) went there on Tuesday afternoon to conquer as many ice cream as we could 😛

WAH! No people, so deserted 😛 GOOD! We can take as much photos and take our time to make choices that way.

So many flavours available. There have Pandan, Vanilla Bean, Blueberry, Rocky Road, Tiramisu, Mango, Forest Berries Yoghurt, Creamy Choc Chip, D’Kic Kac, Mocha Swirl, Cookies N Cream, Coconut, Green Tea, Raspberry Apple Shortcake, Cappucino, Watermelon, Banana Yoghurt and more, more, more… I’m sure it won’t be the same everyday. Their ice cream contained no preservatives and natural flavourings are used.

We ordered 2 Triple Cup hehehe… Only RM6.50 because we used My Privilege Book buy 1 Triple Cup and get another Triple Cup for free! We got to taste 6 types of ice cream!

Left: The cup with pastel colours. Mango(tasted like using Sunvalley syrup 😛 it’s sourish, not very sweet), Forest Berries Yoghurt(tasted like the youghurt drink that you can buy in bottles), and Banana Yoghurt(Hmm… It’s just banana to me 😛 Mashed banana *LOL*).

Right: The cup with earth tones. Dark Chocolate(very thick chocolate!), Mocha Swirl(very thick mocha, tasted like the mocha you get from coffee establishments), and Cookies & Cream(it’s just cookies and cream hahaha…).

Wait till the one at tHe Spring open, will go again 😛 In fact I saw this at Miri last time, thought of trying it out but saw the price tag, I dare not to go for it hahaha… Nevermind… I tasted it now in Kuching hahaha…

Ciliapadi, Cilipadi, many people mixed this up wih Chillipeppers. Hahaha… Cilipadi is located just behind KWSP building. Their business is always so good. This place is definitely HALAL. Many police like to have their meals there as it’s very near to Simpang Tiga police station.

They served a variety of food from Malay food to Chinese food to western food. So many choices. Even the drinks too. We went there last week after the laser tag session. It wasn’t very fun as there were not many people. The more people the merrier because when there are less people, it’s very hard to find a target to shoot. You have run around(which is not supposed to be allowed) and shoot among each other like chasing game -.-”

OK… Back to the food…

Left: Mee Mamak. No idea how it tasted though.
Right: Roti Planta With Chesse(RM2.40, if not mistaken). The roti canai here looks tasty, many people come here to have their roti canai, RM1 each if not mistaken. I ordered Roti Planta(RM1.40) to take home and it’s heavenly with the dhal gravy that is a bit spicy and salty but the more you eat the more gelik(yucky) it got because it’s so oily and sweet! Imagine whole slab of margerine wrapped in the roti and then heat it to make it melt inside, then sugar is sprinkled on it. If you are watching your weight and diet, this is a very sinful dish hahaha…

Left: Nasi lemak(RM3), many people said that it’s really good. I’m not sure because I never had any here hahaha…

I know one of my friends always hang out at this place at night. This place is recommended by me if you want to have variety of good food at kopitiam’s price. In fact it’s a kopitiam 😛 Just that they have many varieties.

Oh dear… How rusty is my Bahasa Malaysia now hahaha… I can no longer speak a proper Bahasa Malaysia without inserting some English words in it and also having a bit of difficulty in expressing myself properly with it too hahaha… This is bad…

It’s been a while not going to Bombastic, so decided to go there to catch up with Lee. They had changed their menu. Actually wanted to go to After Three but the rain was heavy and we thought that we didn’t have umbrella so decided to go to Bombastic as the parking space is nearer to the entrance.

The location? Just opposite Padungan Fire Station.

Left: First Love(RM2.60), I think the taste should be quite sour. Hahaha… As usual, when I’m there I will order their Iced Honey Milk(RM2.60), served in a vase 😛 Hahaha…
Right: Garlic Bread With Cheese & Sausage(RM3.80), this is actually quite nice, this is my second time having it. I quite like it.
