Another ice cream from Paddle Pop. This time it’s called Paddle Pop Choco Berry Popper. The ice cream is a mixed of chocolate and strawberry ice confection and the top is coated with white coating with candy flake. The candy flake actually popped in my mouth! Obviously, duh~ Else it won’t be known as berry popper hahaha… Other than that, nothing to rave about.

Dinner @ Pondok Laguna @ Crown Square
Made a last minute decision to have dinner at Pondok Laguna, an Indonesian restaurant at Crown Square. Never been there so went there armed with our RM50 voucher that we got hahaha… Means we’re there to eat for FREE 😛 One meal for RM50 for 2 persons it’s a bit too much I guess *BLEK* Don’t care! We’re going to try as much food as we can at the end, we only spent RM48+, we thought it would be more than RM50. That’s because they only charged 5% GST. There… RM50 voucher gone… Hahaha…

It’s quite seclude, sandwiched between two shops at the ground floor. If you don’t pay attention to it, you won’t notice it. You’ll see it when you make your entrance at the other entrance at Mr. Ho’s.

The interior. You can opt to use one of the 3 private rooms but reservation is required. I quite like interior but a bit too dark for taking pictures.

Left: This snack, keropok, cost RM3, we didn’t manage to finish it, was so stuffed. It tasted quite nice. It’s served to you once you’ve done your order, it’s not free. Maybe if you dont want, you can ask them to take it away, then you won’t be charge, not sure about this 😛 Or RM3 is table charge no matter you want it or not.
Right: Carrot juice(RM4) and Avocado juice(RM6), these are real juice! They are thick and yummy.

Left: Standard cutlery, fork and spoon. They provided napkin instead of serviette.
Right: Sate Kambing(RM8.50), lamb satay the Indonesian style. You don’t get the usual peanut gravy. The gravy is spicy!!! If you cannot stand spicy food, I won’t recommend this to you. It’s quite tasty but my stomach cannot really stand the chili, after the first stick, I felt like my stomach started to cramp due to the spiciness. Only 8 sticks per plate.

Nasi Timbel(RM2 each), rice wrapped in banana leaf. I would recommend you to order this rice rather than the plain rice which is also RM2 because it’s different and it’s so cute 😛 Kinda sticky and tough though but once you mixed it with a bit of the soup or the gravy, it’s OK.

Left: Gado Gado(RM6), mixed veggie with peanut sauce(think of our local satay gravy :P), the mixed veggies were blanched and served with peanut sauce. I always heard this in TV but never know how it looked and tasted like hahaha… Now I know.
Right: Soto Bandung(RM7), sliced beef with mixed vegetable and tang hoon soup. Nothing much to rave about this.

Left: Rendang Daging(RM8), beef rendang. Portion very small, 6 cubes only. It’s considered spicy for those that cannot tolerate spicy food.
Right: The menu.
All these food can actually feed about 3-4 persons hahaha… We were so stuffed and left some Gado Gado, a stick of lamb satay and the keropok behind. I should have dabao the keropok! I’m not sure how good is their business, it’s was so empty when we were there -.-” Are we seeing another food establishment that going to close door soon?
Frankly, the food are quite reasonably priced and the environment is very nice too. A great place to go with friends and family. Splitting cost is the best way to save 🙂
The Two Bananas
^*^$%$% I wanted to pay for my first installment and 2 exam fees but why la make me pay for my second installment with my payment!!! Now I have to pay extra this month for the exam fees again! SUCKS! Supposed to be spending RM1300 this month and now I have to fork out another RM300 for my exam fee! You know RM300 can do a lot of things in a month or not!??! Damn it! Ever since the first day I attended class, you guys kept messing up my payments!
Went to Two Bananas for lunch. It’s located at Jalan Keretapi. Will show you the location map later.

I notice it quite sometimes ago but always forget about it hahaha…

Left: The name is quite funny and the menu… I’m so sorry… I just can’t stop giggling when I see the two bananas. Hehehe… You know what I’m thinking? *LOL* As if they are trying to outdo each other :p I mean it just seemed so wrong to me *LOL* *SMACK HEAD* Excuse me but these two are male bananas!! OK! OK! Enough!
Right: Barley lemon and ice lemon tea, both RM2, quite small glass.

Left: Thai Chicken with Rice(RM4.50), so sweet… I had difficulty finishing it. I never like food like this, don’t know how to explain *LOL* the two pictures above is enough to explain the kind of food I don’t like. I always try to avoid ordering food like this, it’s just too boring and nothing special, I always not satisfied after eating this type of food. Picky, picky…
Right: Kam Hiong Sotong with Rice(RM5), first few bites of the sotong wasn’t bad but too much of it, it’s pretty salty!!
Overall, food price I think it is not so bad, pretty standard for place with air-conditioning but I don’t see the food has anything much to rave about. Just so-so to me, at least for the food that I had. Other food, I don’t know, don’t have such money and luxury to try out more.

The location map I promised.
Pizza Hut’s Sensasi Delight
Went to Pizza Hut for dinner with my family last weekend. Wanted to order the usual pizza set meal but guess what?!?! They didn’t have any. They only offer Sensasi Delight set meal -.-”

Left: All of them came in personal sized pizza, there were no choice of regular or large. We had to choose a set and we ended up with Sensasi Set 9. There were 4 choices of pizza toppings available. There were Egg & Chicken Wonder, Thai Chicken, Cool Lime Chicken and Cool Lime Chilli Tuna. Then the spaghetti were Chicken Bolognaise Spaghetti, Sesame Chicken Spaghetti and Exotic Arrabiatta Spaghetti.
Right: The garlic bread, a bit overbaked.

Left: We ordered the Chicken Bolognaise Spaghetti, nothing to rave about. Sesame Chicken Spaghetti wasn’t available.
Right: Thai Chicken, I thought it’s Cool Lime Chicken. I don’t think I tasted anything Thai in there 😛 The sauce tasted sweet and sour, as if lemon/lime jam was used 😛 that’s why I thought that it’s Cool Lime Chicken.

Left: This is the real Cool Lime Chicken. The name was misleading enough. When I studied the menu again, the Malay name was Ayam Limau Mayo. Then it stucked me that this is Cool Lime Chicken, no mayo mentioned in its English name. -.-” Pretty yucky… I don’t really like mayo in pizza or sushi but handroll sushi is fine :P. Ew…
Right: Egg & Chicken Wonder, it’s OK… I thought it would taste really bad. Just imagine egg in pizza?!?!
Didn’t order the tuna pizza because it would smell fishy and we never like seafood pizza. This set cost us RM35.65(including GST and service tax). Was so stuffed and had to tabao Egg & Chicken Wonder home.
If you notice, all the ingredients used are cheap local ingredients instead of important ingredients. That’s why it’s so affordable.
Bueno White

I’m not sure this is new or not 😛 Hahaha… You tried it before? What do you think?
As usual, the filling is creamy milk and hazelnut. The wafer is coated with fine white chocolate and sprinkled with delicate chocolate crisps.
To me… I still prefer the original one. I think Bueno White is a bit too sweet for me.
On the other note, class will start tomorrow… Hehehe… Don’t know what to expect going back to school.
