Bumbu Cabe

Posted on March 9, 2016March 9, 2016 By sweet surrender No Comments on Bumbu Cabe

Want some Sundanese cuisine? You can get it from Bumbu Cabe at iCom Square (Ground Floor, Parcel B128 & B129, Block B, Icom Square, Jalan Pending, 93450 Kuching) or Cityone. The place is always packed! Some said the food are expensive, some said it’s reasonable. For me, I would agree with the latter. A reminder though, the food is consider spicy to quite a lot of people.

Left: The sambal set that will be given to you once you’re seated.

Right: Rice served in stainless steel pot. We ordered white rice. There’s also other type of rice to order.

After you’re seated, go to the area where food are displayed. Tell the staff your table number and order the food there. What you see here is the amount of food for one portion. For each, we only ordered one portion. The price ranges around RM6/portion. They have a wide variety of vegetables to meat for you to choose.

We had potato strips, chicken, and eggplant with sambal. All were delicious. We were stuffed! Don’t underestimate the portion, it looked small but took the 3 of us (average eaters) quite a fair bit of effort to finish them all.

All these including four drinks for three pax was less than RM50.

One more thing, I recently found out that the price at CityOne branch is higher even though they are serving the same thing.

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
