Saw Donashi in the newspapers and it seems so interesting, so cute! Happened that I went to tHe Spring yesterday and it was my sister’s birthday, we decided to buy 28 donushi as her birthday cake.
Left: 28 Donushi cost RM28, 18 Donushi cost RM23. This is the new product from Big Apple Donuts and Coffee. The empty space in the middle was for the chocolate sauce. Since we saw 14 names on display but actually only 13 types available, so we decided to get 2 for each type. Who knows… After we paid, new batch came out! They gave us 4 Do-Futomaki. Should ask them to hold on to it until new batch came out so we won’t have too many duplicates.
DONASHIâ„¢, donuts dressed like sushi, with new and out of this world flavours. Every piece is cream filled wall to wall for that rich and delighting experience everyone deserves.
These extremely sushi-licious donuts will be available tomorrow at all Big Apple Donuts & Coffee outlets nationwide! East Malaysia fans please be patient as you can only get your hands on them on 11th June 2010.
Important: No animals or fish were used or harmed in the production of the DONASHIâ„¢. The makers of this confectionery affirm that the product is suitable for Vegetarians.
By the way, the following Donushi looked very messy because we accidentally tilted the box when got out of the car ;p These are just some of them that I managed to take photos of.
Right: DO-TAKUWAN, feel the passion of papaya.
Left: DO-IKURA, orange pellet gels juggling for attention.
Right: DO-NARUTO, enhanced with Strawberry Chocolate maze
Left: DO-FUTOMAKI, kiwi fruit filing, Strawberry and Vanilla battle for supremacy as Orange bits take centre stage.
Right: DO-KAPPA, kiwi with subtle Chocolate.
Left: DO-IKABURI, coconut Vanilla with Chocolate lacings.
Right: DO-TAI NIGIRI, the all Vanilla favourite with Coconut and Orange bits.
Left: DO-TAKO, a fill of Vanilla, a thrill of Strawberry, a spill of chocolate.
Right: DO-SAKE, strawberry complemented by lacings of Coconut delight.
So? Very cute huh? I’m not sure whether I’ll buy it again. No doubt it’s something unique and interesting. Taste wise, it’s just Big Apple Donuts of different shape and designs. Have you try? If not mistaken, it doesn’t available at night and it’s on first come first serve basis.
