Cheese Bamboo Charcoal Bread

Posted on March 26, 2009 By sweet surrender 12 Comments on Cheese Bamboo Charcoal Bread

Does it look gross? Black black bread.

Bought this from Taka the other day. It’s called Cheese Bamboo Charcoal Bread or is it Cheese Charcoal Bamboo Bread? Doesn’t matter, it’s still black ;p

First time see such black bread and was curious about the taste. So bought one, forgot the price, between RM1.50-RM3.

It’s slightly bitter and spicy, hmm… How to explain the taste? Really don’t know how to explain. You need to get accustomed to the taste, it’s not something everyone can accept.

The bread is soft enough. The milky coloured thing is the cheese.

According to the poster at the bakery, it stated that this bread is good for health. How good? I don’t remember what were stated there at all! ;p

Will I buy again? No because I don’t really like to eat bread! This is quite expensive too.

Annie, at Taka, I did mention in the post. Not sure other branch got or not, bought this at RH Plaza branch.

Lee, I think it’s a type of new flour from Taiwan.
