After PIKOM, my dad suggested that we go visit DinoTrek at Tun Abdul Razak Hall, just opposite Sarawak Musuem.
GAH! We thought we could enter for free. Who knows? When we reached there, we saw the “Tickets Sold Out” notice everywhere outside the hall. Need to buy tickets one!!! Many parents were caught with surprise too. I don’t think I came across anything mention about the need to buy tickets in the media! Summore it’s by Petronas. We should be given free entrance for it! Not charging us!
Though the tickets are not that expensive for us(adult-RM5, children[3-17]-RM3) but I don’t think I want to pay that kind of money to go in to see some robots moving their hands and legs and some recorded audio to create the sound. So lame. I don’t think it’s worth to go in at all. You just see my photo, I don’t think you will think it’s worth it at all. Only some cardboard walls surrounded the “dinasours”.
Many children wanted to go in but tickets were sold out. Most parents brought their children there becuase they thought it’s free entrance. Any sane parents will not want pay for that kind of money to go in to see some lame robots! What to do? Children… Once they want something, they will make sure that they have it or else they will scream or cry on top of their lungs. As for the parents, they would be force to buy the tickets even though they didn’t wan to. Even though the tickets were sold out, they still need to find other time to go. They are very unwilling but they still have to squeeze their balls to buy the tickets because there is no way for them to disappoint their children.
Imagine this… You had been telling your children to do well or behave and you will bring them to see dinasours. All these while you thought that it’s free. Then when you reached there and found out that you have to buy tickets to go in knowing deep down that those are just some lame robots and lame audios to “cheat” the kids. Your children has been waiting for the moment, seeing their adorable faces, how can you have the heart to disappoint them? So, you can only tell them the tickets are sold out, you will have to find other day to go and you have to keep the promise. How can you disappoint your little angels right? So to compensate your angels for not being able show them the promised dinasours, you have to buy some DinoTrek merchandise on sale so that they will not be sad.
OK.. Tell me people! Do you know that they are charging for the entrance? As far as I know, I heard nothing or see or read anything about the need to pay to go in. Anyone? That’s why people always said that children’s money is always the best to earn. See how true is this?
my my my…..first u are taunting those innocent streamyx resellers. now u are haunting petronas dinosaurs.
dear sweet lord, please protect kuchingnites from this crazy woman. hehehehe….
Hahahah… Bad bad mood…:P
I want to see dinasours!
KL got, much better than Kuching, you go to see hahaha…
When I first see the DinoTrek, I thought you went to the one in Miri! HEhee.. There’s one in Miri too. I went in (despite my mum telling me it’s not worth it). Worse was, I went in with my 50-year-old Dad, my 20 and 16-year-old cousins. I feel that Dinotrek is more suitable for children. We ‘old fellas’ aren’t too impressed. Maybe the Dinotrek in Miri isn’t as good? Not sure.. but I think they are of the same stuff.. ours was in Petroleum Museum up on Canada Hill.
Hi lynnx01, welcome 🙂
Yes, it’s more for children, not for us hahaha… They are 100% the same for sure :P. They are just moving from place to place.
If I’m not mistaken KL have much better one somewhere in KLCC I think, the permanent site since it’s under PETROSAINS, Petronas. Should have it.
Heck, I thought its free too! Lousy bloodsucker Petronas! But out of curiosity, I hope to see the photos of whats inside…if I can find it online.
Hello Gabby, welcome! Hahaha… Many thought that it’s free. I only manage to see Alfred Jabu’s picture with one of the dinasours in The Borneo Post the other day hahahaha…
